Hi Matthew I really needed this episode today. My mom is struggling and in pain. And this month she’s about to have foot surgery. And I’ve been having a lot of anxiety so this really helped. I might make a devotion about this myself for my new book. Genesis 29:4-8
" 4(a) Jacob said to them, " My brothers, where do you come from?" They said, " We are from Haran( " Haran" do you also remember how Abraham's father, Terah settled in Haran ( in Genesis 11:31b and died in Haran( Genesis 11:32b) suppose only point us back to Genesis 11:32 but for your sake in love in Christ. We open from Genesis 11:31-32 for fuller picture in Chrst.
Genesis 11:31-32
"31 Terah( Abraham's dad or Abram's dad) took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his( Terah's) grandson( Lot)and Sarai his daughter- in- law, his son Abram's wife, and they went forth together to Ur( they worship "Moon god Nanna" so it is no good) the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there(" Haran").
( Terah( Abraham's dad) had made a wrong choice because where he settled is where he died also in Genesis 11:32

They said,
" We know him( Laban= Jacob's uncle or Jacob's mom, Rebekah's older brother= Laban= "him")
6 He( Jacob😊❤) said to them( "my brothers"),
" Is it well with him( Laban)?"
They said,
" It is well; and see Rachal his daughter is coming with the sheep! "
7( a) He( Jacob😊❤) said, " Behold 😊❤, it is still high day;
it is not time for the livestock to be gathered together( Do you remember Genesis 29:3 ? The Bible said

"3 and when all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone from the mouth of the well and water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place over the mouth of the well."( Genesis 29:3 ESV Study Bible)

Now today in Christ,
do you also give thanks to God(😊100%❤) with a blessing for the food like many faithful ones in Christ also do before their( our) eating today? Do you pray today before eating in Christ at home with your children or outside eating in any place too the question do you look up to heaven and thank God😊100%❤ too for the food too? Do you have also a grateful heart like Jesus😊1st❤. He looked up to heaven and not look down at the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish from the boy. " About five thousand(5000) men besides women and children." (Matthew 14:21b ESV Study Bible) It makes sense just imagine 5000 men or people and of course there were women and children too following Jesus😊1st❤ our Lord and our savior in Christ.
. Imagine in where you live only seeing 5000 men without women and children doesn't make senses so therefore the Bible makes sense in Christ. Walk out do you only see men? Or men, women and children too? So Matthew 14:21,21b make senses in Christ)

Matthew 14:22-33(Jesus😊1st❤ walks on the water)
"22 Immediately he ( Jesus😊1st❤) made the discipled get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds.
23 After he( Jesus😊1st❤) had dismissed the crowds, " he went up on the mountain by himself to pray(😊❤). When evening came, he was there alone,

" O you of little faith, why did you doubt( now remenbering of Hebrews 12:2 😊❤)."

the boat( "the boat" they do not car back then but they do have water travel by boat) ,
the wind ceased( died down or stopped).
