  • To honor the 60th anniversary of the Dallas Cowboys, and the receipt of the Tom & Alicia Landry Family Collection, the Dallas Historical Society hosted an evening celebrating the illustrious first coach of America's team with former players from the Landry era.
Mike Doocy from Fox 4 moderated the discussion with former players Mel Renfro, Cliff Harris, and Drew Pearson reminiscing of their time with Coach Landry.
This event also debuted an exhibit of mementos from Landry’s life, some of which have never been seen by the public. These relics - from Landry’s childhood to Cowboys coach and after - will have a permanent home with the Dallas Historical Society at the Hall of State in Fair Park.

All three of those guys bring back great memories. I was a Cowboy fan not because they were winners, but because the way they won. With Class!

Glad Cliff Harris STILL cares....Us fans still relive what could have been in Super Bowl X and XIII....including Cliff's taunting of Guerilla in X and going away from the Dorsett running game in XIII.

Thanks for posting, very nice. Just a correction for your records, the first thing Clint Murchison did was not hire Tom Landry, he hired Tex Schramm, who then hired Tom.
