Cartman's juvenile ID number is 24601 - which is the same prison ID as Jean Valjean in the Victor Hugo novel "Les Miserables".
When Stan and Kyle visit Cartman, they’re speaking “Pig Latin”
It’s an old word game, you take the first letter of a word, put it at the end, and add “ay”
So “South Park” would be “Outhsay Arkpay”
Good way to trick AI too .. ... for now... :P
I thought it was a real language
@@Azurethewolf168it more or less is. It has clear rules and can be taught to others. I'd say it's no less real than any other language.

You can tell that this episode was made immediately after Matt and Trey lost 'Best Musical' at the academy awards, and this was just the beginning of them taking out their frustration towards Phil Collins (it got a lot worse of the upcoming episode "Timmy 2000). 😂
Yep, they could accept losing, but not to Phil Collins.
@djdomain the sad thing is, I'm not entirely convinced they did lose. No matter that was in the winning envelope, the moment Matt and Trey showed up in those dresses there were higher ups screaming "don't you dare let them anywhere near the stage!!"

“What’s Animaniacs?”
One of the few phrases that both hurt me physically and mentally 😢
In America we call that your prison wallet 😂
Yeah fill that prison wallet
'BLACK!.. Did you say? BLACK!' 😂😂 I say that whenever someone says 'black'
There’s two kinds of people in here. Kids who like Animaniacs and kids who don’t like Animaniacs. Which one are you?

The ‘ Romper Stomper ‘ was an actual toy that came out in 1970. It was part of a line of toys associated with the Kid’s Show Romper Room. My younger brother and sister and I each had a set. They completely annoyed our parents. 😃👍
I was on the Japanese version of Romper Room when I was a kid :)
If this were made today that girl would be the one on trial: donutpunchers, pillowbiters, buttpirates... Twitter would have an aneurysm
Over that or because you still call it Twitter like me?
I love how cartman has been in jail multiple times yet his mom doesn’t even care to check on him
The music playing when Cartmen enters juvenile hall is the theme from the HBO prison drama "Oz"
lmao the bronco was a oj reference
how did kennys family afford a go go action bronco
The kids weren’t speaking nonsense, they were speaking “Pig Latin”, it’s a variation of English that all American kids learn. Some people can speak it crazy fast, but pretty much all Americans understand it if it’s spoken slowly. I always thought that if America ever got invaded (which would be a very bad idea), we could all just start talking pig Latin and foreigners would have no idea what we were saying, lol.
My now 85-year-old mother and her best friend from high school used to be really good at conversing in pig Latin. Mom still calls things upid-stay (stupid) sometimes. lol
I actually never learnt this as a kid, I heard about it but never knew what it was until now
I saw a thread on this prison question somwhere:
"I remember a similar question from middle school. You wake up and you're an inch deep inside your mom and your dad's an inch deep inside you. Do you move forward or backward?"
"Yep. American middle schools are a lot like Soviet prisons."
This was really the introduction episode of Token. Yes, like Butters in "2 guys naked in a hot tub" he'd appeared in several episodes beforehand, but this is where he was named and got a full storyline around him
Prisoner 24601 is a reference to les miserables the broadway musical character Jean Val Jean.
One of my favourite unsung moments of the episode is the leader of the girls gang coming back with equally unhinged gay themed insults like "pillow biters" or "turd burglers"
I resemble that remark!
By technicality, Cartman HAS the room in his rear given that in the Pilot Episode he had a Alien Satellite in his rear..
Cartman's ass has some freaky non-Euclidean properties.
The "Oz" Theme song at the prison is the best.
24:52 Butters always had a deep hatred for women.
You will see in some episodes...
Yeah, he called Wendy as a stupid bitch 💀
10:02 That elevation is probably right South Park is based on a real Place called Fairplay, Colorado in Park County. And it has a starting elevation of like 9,000 feet.
"Eric Cartman do you know a student, by the name Token"
"Yes he's a black kid that goes to my school"
"BLACK!!! Did you say black!!!"
Lol, that made me laugh 😆😅😂🤣
24:19 that bear noise is always funny.
same bear from Jubilee?
16:11 @tolireacts we call it a "prison wallet" 👌
24:19 I just noticed that red is on the sled and in the crowd cheering. animation mistake i guess 😂
How do these guys make so many mistakes in the first few seasons?
My Favorite Episode on my 15th Birthday, thank you Toli!

Lol, I was in 6th grade when South Park debuted!; Glad to see it loved all this time later! :D Happy Birthday! :)
I wasn’t allowed to watch South Park until I was 21
@@barrettfenwick8028i knew south Park since Kindergarden, my picture Album had the south Park Kids on the Back. I only became a south Park addict at 11!
10:12 when they say elevation on signs like that, they mean the elevation from sea level
welp cartman sure had more space "THERE" after alien satellite episode ;)
And hate crime doesnt work like that. Theyd have to prove that it was about race.
what do you think the lawyer was doing when he reacted the way he did to Cartman calling Tolkein BLACK? He was using cartman calling him Black to set the narrative of it being about race, the joke being that it was a real problem where people where getting hate crime modifiers added to their sentencing even when the crimes weren't racially motivated.
@@DanielRichards644 That was never a real problem
that was a red herring that people made up about it the same way people made up the idea of “frivolous lawsuits” being an epidemic
First off the lawyer’s attacks on Carmen should have been objected to, Carmen doesn't seem to have any lawyer or representation
and the government is not going to federally charge a minor over this kind of case
it has to be a severe enough crime to do that
As usual Matt and Trey are so concerned with getting out their opinion that they will literally contrive and manipulate the writing to get that result
and the rubes who watch them will actually think this is how the law works.
@mckenzie.latham91 dude, they always go to the extreme, that's the style, it's not that they don't get the real level, it's that they purposely exaggerate the scenario to make fun of it.
@@mckenzie.latham91this is South Park ma’am
@@DanielRichards644 I have no problem with Matt and trey doing that, exaggeration is a big part of comedy and satire
my issue is with the people who watch the episode and then agree with or think that is how the law or things actually works cause they saw it on south park
I’ve seen this happen with many different episodes
meanwhile I literally have heard trey and matt say they don’t know things, or research facts that much
they go with their gut feelings and or what they find funny, or the point they feel like going for
and so people should not take a lot of these episodes seriously as fact, cause they’re not based on that.
I like the editing on this one w/ the flashback references
I think the Phil Collins hill namesake was also to be a spoof of the town Fort Collins
I haven't seen this episode in a long time and I completely forgot about those insults the girls had for the boys! I need to add 'Butt Pirate', 'Rump Ranger' 'Pillow Biter' and 'Donut Puncher' to my vocabulary! 😂😂
I miss old South Park, not that modern South Park is bad by any means but I prefer it when it was more about the boys getting into whacky situations, the social commentary was more subtle and the show wasn't so focused on satirizing current events.
At 14:30 he was speaking pig Latin. A childhood made up language. My first time hearing it was on the three stooges. You take the first letters off every word until you get to the first vowel. Then put the letters at the end of the word and add "ay"at the end. "Itya ooklay ikelay isthay". It's stupid but unfay
16:02 we call it daddy’s dugout
Cartman must have a wizard sleeve.
8:38 OZ Music!
That prison drama was something else, incredibly violent and brutal. Watched every episode.
17:40
... how in the f**k did you get hold of my tears?!! 😢
Then why watch his videos?
“They on'tday? Why the ellhay otnay?! It ooktay ourfay ourshay to akebay this Oddamnedgay akecay, and ownay we're otallytay ewedscray!!”
That prison theme is from the HBO series Oz. I used to watch that, until this one scene
The way I see it, there would have to be a crime and a prejudicial intent. Otherwise, it's not a hate crime and that means Cartman didn't commit one... yet.
Ah yes the beginning of the we get offended on behalf of others while still ignoring those others.
This was a problem way before it got big
I take it you haven't seen HBO's awesome show Oz. It's about life in prison. When they show the prison they play Oz's iconic theme song. It's fantastic.
24:10 -- Hope you got airbag!
24:19 Have fun with your new furry friend, carpet-cleaner.
I am so glad she was just a one-shot character.
16:01 prison wallet
I love watching people who don’t know how to speak pig Latin try to make sense of it! 😂
The theme music that is playing is from the tv show "oz" a fictional show about a prison, I assume you haven't seen it? It's pretty damn good, quite violent and raw.
You got F’d in the A next!!
NO, he's gotta do "Something you can do with your Finger" first.
@@DanielRichards644 Ya got a compelling case

The beef with Phil Collins is because he won the oscar with the Tarzan OST, and South Park: BL&U + Toy Story 2 were nominees too.
And if _Toy Story 2_ won, they'd be making fun of Randy Newman.
Russell Crowe played Romper Stomper in the 1992 film.
I like the fake country jokes, this "Moldova" one is pretty good, but you have to add more variety. Throw a Latveria or a Genovia one once in a while to mix it up for example.
The one I love the most is Canada, like who would believe that exists?
15:06 Cartman is about to hide cigarette butts up his butt.
8:08
My mom’s going on the knife chair for sure lol

It’s one of those things everyone just knows about for some reason

Is it weird that, when I was a kid, I thought girls were *more* sporty than boys?
Not really. Girls are more masculine now so it makes sense.

If you haven't seen animaniacs, that could be something to react to sometime.
You should watch “Hummels and Heroine” or “Craig’s Mom’s Bush”
14:43 😂😂Is that what we sound like? תאמת צודק יש דמיון חחחח
This episode appeared a season before 5's Scott Tenorman, so maybe Cartman learned how to be an evil genius due to Juvenile Hall?
What did you mean btw, when you said the biggest misogynists are feminists? i kinda agree, but just wondering about your interpretation
You should check out ‘I’m a little bit country’ and ‘South Park is gay’.
Bronco = O.J. & Al 😂!
Oil-Tay is a Ike-Bay Eif-Thay
Love the reactions, but it's a bit worrying how often you're on Cartman's side lol. It makes sense for these early episodes where he is less evil, later seasons Cartman wouldn't have denied hating black people...
Do the list next

Day 3 of asking for season 10 episode 3 and 4 cartoon wars (2 part banned episode)
For real, the girls in this show (at least the important ones) are so annoying and unlikable, why even in a political incorrect show there's feminists / girl power characters ? They are already a pain in real life we don't need them in fiction too.
I mean... they themselves are politically incorrect, discriminating against the boys like that. I swear, people don't even know what "politically correct" means anymore.
We get it buddy, your never gotten laid, cause too many women have too much self respect
get over it.
I don’t even know, I guess for drama, since that’s all they’re used for. I notice that the early seasons had the girls act more like girls, and now they act entitled
Toli you should react to Beavis & Butthead
