The euphoria, the confusion, the disappointment, the anger, the revelation, it was all there. A spectacular experience. 10/10 still deciding whether I'm mad or amused over the whole joke, which shows it's good.

Hey Jan! I doubt that you are still seeing comments on a video two weeks old, but I still wanted to write this. I just saw your video on the tone indicator /hj, and am not commenting there because it has 11k likes and I genuinely want this to reach you. In my opinion, the concept of a half joke is different than the example of buying orange juice. I would argue that it was an example of exaggeration, and not as a half joke. I point this out as these are two very different things. The way that they differ is in their purpose. Exaggeration is used as emphasis: explaining the sheer amount of something by saying it is more than it is or more intense than it is. Exaggeration is used to convey information. A half joke is often used to collect information. A half joke can be used when someone has an opinion or an idea that they do not know how it will be received. They can say it in a joking manner and then gauge the response of the person. One example could be this: "What if you ditched him and went out with me instead?" This is said in a sarcastic tone of voice, but the speaker actually wants the other person to go out with them instead of the other person. Figuring out whether it is sarcasm or not is difficult even in person, but often times a half joke really isn't that funny. It feels uncomfortable and forced. Unfortunately this awkwardness sometimes is up played for the sake of humor as well. At the core, the difference between a half joke and sarcasm is whether the person truly means what they are saying. I am not autistic, and so do not know sure if gauging uncomfortableness or if something is forced is natural, but unfortunately that is the best way to do so off the top of my head. Gauging a half joke is hard enough for someone who doesn't have autism, so I wish you the best of luck in the future in this regard. In conclusion: sarcasm is for humor or juxtaposition Exaggeration is for over expressing an idea to convey the quantity or severity of it Half jokes are for testing the waters of another person to see how they receive an idea I hope that this is in any way helpful -Rigdon
If the other letter videos were "reverse clickbait", as one commenter said, does that mean this is reverse reverse clickbait? Or regular clickbait? Maybe it's not clickbait at all?
Can i request a video topic? Can you do a language breakdown on Anishinaabemowin? It has variations because it's more of a language family, like how English has a lot of variations, and is spoken by a number of Algonquin nations Native to a section of Canada and the USA. It's a really interesting language and very phonetic, but I've been having a hard time wrapping my head around learning it. The video would also help contribute to preserving a language that the government tried to wipe out, and I know that it's a language that the speakers are open to outsiders learning because I have spoken with a number of people who are from the Native groups that traditionally spoke it and happily encouraged me to learn and share it with others. I think you'd find the phonetics interesting, like how they use double vowels such as aa for specific vowel sounds, and the conjugation of words is also very interesting! You dont have to learn the language itself and memorize vocabulary, but if you wanted to you would also probably find it interesting how certain words are the root of so many other words and how literal the language often is if you break it down. Like the word for tamarack is mashkiigwaatig which means swamp+tree/stick(deciduous), because it is a tree that thrives in swampy conditions and is one of if not the only coniferous tree that sheds its needles in winter instead of staying green all year.
You know the ambient lighting thing YT has now on desktop and mobile? Well I have it on in mobile.
