As a German Fan I appreciate the noon Games. It‘s 7 pm for us and it‘s far better than a 10pm start. My Prediction for the Season is 7-10. But if JJ comes in and balls out it could be better. SKOL

Regardless of what most fans seem to think, not to mention Judd and Phil, this is going to be a long year, but,
I think there are very winnable games on this schedule and 10 or 11 wins is not out of the question.
The Vikings defense should be much improved and offensively, they have the weapons to defeat any team on this schedule.
Every year there are surprise teams in the NFL and I think the Vikings will be one of them! 😎

the great thing for the Vikings. The 2 QBs trying to figure out the system will have until week 6 to figure it out. After that, I think there will start to be higher expectations.
I think McCarthy starts week one. However, if Darnold does end up starting due to KOC refusing to start the best player again, the schedule is setup perfectly for McCarthy to take over after the week 6 bye and a 1-4 start from the Vikings.

McHandoff the best player? 😂😂 Asking McHandoff to throw the ball 40 times in a game that's used to throwing 12 is a huge ask. He's throwing against much better players in the NFL. It's not college run run run it's pass pass pass. Put McCarthy in too soon he starts getting picked off, loses confidence and gets wrecked.

This is the first time in a long time I see no for sure victories and a lot of high chance of a loss games. Glad we kept our 25 1st lol.
The Vikings have their first, but they don't have their 2nd, 3rd, or fourth round picks, which will be high picks ( near the start of the round) if( when?) the Vikings suck. The third round comp pick, projected to the Vikings, will be at the end of round, which won't be much different than the high fourth round pick that they don't have.
Darnold will be great. Mark my words. 11-6
Two things. 1. They were 7-10 and have Darnold probably the starting qb. Absolutely acceptable to have 2 primetime games (not a pt game fan anyways). 2. We have no clue who is going to be the qb all year so each game is either a coin toss or a loss.
As a 53 year old Vikings fan, there is always next year.

That’s a massive overreaction. Look at the defense, the weapons, the offensive tackles, and the coaching staff. In no way are they losing more than 10-11 games even with not great QB play.

Someone should have told the people that make the schedule. Will be more competitive and prime time ga Will be more competitive in prime time games this year. Not sure why, but I just have a feeling we would be more competitive for some reason.
If its a prime time game, 1am-3am when the game starts here in ireland so im good for the lack of primetime games.

If J.J. starts at all this year, my predictions for when are either week 7 (10% chance) after the bye or week 13 (15% chance) vs. the Cardinals at the beginning of that 3 game home stretch. But I really think that Sammy D. will be our starting QB all season, barring injury.

I can see the Vikings go 3-2 heading into the bye week. I'm not sold on GB and we've proven we can win there. Think we also beat both New Jersey teams.
Exactly. Don't turn the ball over, run the offense efficiently, and let the defense eat. There is a chance we are fighting for that last wildcard when all is said and done this year.

The Vikings should be favored only in one game before December. You are fooling yourself thinking the Vikings would be favorites against Houston.
This isn't our year anyway. Not worried about it. Just enjoy fun football and see how JMac does. Silver lining with a top-10 pick in next year's draft is trading back to recoup a 2nd rounder and change. Lots of cap space too, and JMac should be set to start. Remember, the Bills, Dolphins, and Texans were terrible for many years before they got good. We shouldn't complain about a couple down years.
