Thanks a ton for your recipes. They’re way faster than the stock Carbide Create ones! Much appreciated, Winston!

Good tip with the conventional finishing contour. Nice video as always.

Loving that Carbide 3D is getting more content out! (Good choice picking up Winston!) Hoping for some more Shapeoko based stuff, feels like the Nomad team is getting all the love lately! :)

I've had good luck machining HDPE on the Nomad for making silicon casting molds. I didn't go as aggressive as you did with the tooling, but good to know I can push the Nomad even further.

After machining the HDPE, did you achieve a smooth finish? Hoping I coukd use HDPE for casting resins and need a super super smooth finish on contact areas. Any tips?

Any chance we could get a video on single flute milling of HDPE on the nomad with the 274Z? or even just a speeds and feeds resource?

Love the material mondays! When will you tackle hardwoods?

Would this also apply for a 1/4” 2 flute but?

Hi Winston, what stock to leave value did you use before your finishing contour passes? I'm curious if that has anything to do with the strange center "scalloped" surface I have on the outer walls of my latest HDPE cut. Thank you.

How would any of these parameters change if you wanted to work polypropylene instead of HDPE?

Came across a 8 foot by 4 foot 2 inch thick sheet. Now what do you make out of it??

Just getting into CNC. Are these feeds and speeds capable on a Shapeoko 3? As I can think of a lot of uses for this material, but my understanding is the nomad can do slower speeds than the routers is Shapeoko, so they can do softer materials without the material melting while working
