I'm just getting into surf fishing since retiring 6 weeks ago up Port Macquarie way and I found your video so helpful.
Clear details, well presented and more importantly simple to understand.
I copied your setup, except that I couldn't match that rod but got the same spec Shimano version called the Maikuro2 .
Two questions if i could ask.
1. What length leader line should I set up with this rod?
2. Great camo shirts that you wear. What's the brand please.

Glad it was helpful! A leader a bit shorter than the rod is a good starting point. I’ve got two of those shirts that I’ve had for years. It’s a U.S. brand called Aqua but sadly they don’t make those exact shirts any more. Such a shame. I love mine.
