    La has dejado nueva. Ese producto desengrasante es muy eficaz. Es importante secar con aire caliente todo el equipo, tal como lo has hecho. Muy buen trabajo. Un daludo desde la ciudad de Alicante.

      Gracias, me constó limpiar la lámina, le tallé fuerte y con mucho jabón para limpiar lámina.

    I just gotta ask this question. The IF transformers in this unit use Litz wire. Thats very fine copper covered with a cotton/silk insulator. How did you keep CLR out of that Litz wire??

      Funny you asked, as i type this i took off the IF cans, they are clean and no issues. I took some video, and some pictures. No damage what so ever on the lits wire. As a matter of fact one of the cans has two 180pf caps one for each side of the tuning screw, i replaced each cap with new modern 180pf cap. Please stay tuned for the next video, ill talk about it and show my progress. Thanks for the question, i appreciate it.

    Good job, what is the name of product you use to achieve a result like this?

      I used rust removal type solution, it was not harsh on the components nor on the cloth wires at all. Then I used aluminum polish. Thanks for watching.
