PWM dimming isn't good for the eyes or brain to be exact. If the dimming frequency is low, it causes headaches in some people. Another thing is, to maintain colour accuracy, the voltage at the OLED is very critical, so PWM dimming frequency used may need to be adjusted keeping that in mind.
I purchased my S23 Ultra on March 4th, 2023 for a price of INR 1,00,000. If you are interested in purchasing one, I would recommend visiting an authorized store and negotiating the price as much as possible.
Samsung phones will be good for the first 2 years. I had galaxy note 10 plus for 3 years. The 3rd year I started seeing issues. There were lags and frame drops in the UI and phone used to get heated up often.
I would like to correct you regarding PWM dimming. Most LCDs having Direct Backlit display or Large LED/LCD panels, and All AMOLED panels uses PWM for dimming. Conventionally their frequency ranges from 200 to 450 Hz, but these days, Chinese OEMs are using High Frequency PWM which is being advertised as flicker free Display technology. High Frequency PWM can be captured in Camera but isn't distinguishable by any normal human, no matter how sensitive are they to the seizure. DC Dimming is different altogether.

It's for sure a great device, but camera software...well it's just same old Samsung camera software stuff I had problems with on every previous device I used. Shutter lag/motion blur because of it, choppy videos, weird color grading, unpredictable results... remove all "features" (most of the users will try once or never) like Single take, Directors cut, Moon pics...and it's just not as good - take it out of the pocket and point and shoot - experience as it should be. Hardware is great, but software just isn't on pair. I really couldn't care less about 200mpix or zoom when I still can't take a pic of moving subject (kid, pet...) without it being unusable because of blur. The same conditions my prehistoric Iphone 6 handles well. Vibration is so soft (compared to my previous Note10+) that I still have a lot of missed calls and notifications and I'm using S23 Ultra for more then 3 months. For those who buy phone mainly because of it's camera, especially if you use social networks a lot...well, honestly, I'm not sure S23 Ultra is the right choice. I fell for the hype and got a pretty good carrier deal, but wouldn't really buy it again.

Hi TW Team, I own a S23 Ultra myself and worst experience I've had till now is the"Wireless Charging" overheat issue. Although it's the best phone I've ever had and I had never intended to switch to an iPhone. But this issue has been very disappointing for Me, as when charging my S23 Ultra wirelessly in my car, the phone gets extremely over heated at a certain point where the phone itself prompts a message that charging has stopped due to high temperature rise in device. So to overcome this issue I had no other option but to switch to the conventional way of charging which is to do it simply by using a charging cable which works absolutely fine and no issue with that. But at the same I'm not able to use the inbuilt feature of my car to charge my Samsung S23 Ultra wirelessly. Any advice to do so will be highly appreciable from your experts team. Thanks 🤘🏻

Will it always be Android vs ios or do you think any new os could come in future and even if it does are there any chances that it will be able to compete with these two
No chance

Thoroughly enjoying my s23 ultra. It's a jack of all trades. Won't disappoint in any front.

Rich go for- s23 ultra
Higher middle class - go for s23 Or s23 plus
Middle class- go for s21 FE
Lower middle class- f23/a14
Below this- plz u all suggest
😂
All the phones except for S23 series are pure garbage
how do u compare 23 to S22 ultra? i have ben using S22 ultra for over 6 months now and its held up really good. personally i use S-pen a lot and there is no replacement for it.
I have the s23 256gb, the most important thing which made me buy this instead of plus, is its size it is just perfect, the plus is bulky
i use vibration too , but on my phone vibration motor is damaged , so basically it is silent
2:35 Question in comment mismatches with amswer + You don't have to turn off Internet, simply turn off 'Scene Optimiser' in Camera Settimgs to disable AI Moon Photos (+ Other Optimisations)
The reason I switched to ios was Android’s inability to keep things compact as well as maintaining performance.
It has some bugs. I am using it for 90days too .
1 The GPS not working all the time and when you traving the google map and did not tell you where you are untill to turn off and on location.
2. While screen recording in browsers when it recording the audio stop playing.
3 i have Galaxy Buds and note 10 if buds connected to S23 and i play something on Note 10 buds connected to note 10 but when connected to note 10 and play anything s23 ultra doest not connect to buds i have to connect it manualy.

Samsung's camera consistency is awesome on a budget phone but plzz suggest me some good camera phone for videos under 20k
Am using S23 base but it's best phone till I used. It's handy aswell has fantastic processor. Battery comes for one day. Arraam se. Loved it.
Please do a biggest comparison between all phone companies flagship phones
I would like to correct you regarding PWM dimming.
Most LCDs having Direct Backlit display or Large LED/LCD panels, and All AMOLED panels uses PWM for dimming.
Conventionally their frequency ranges from 200 to 450 Hz, but these days, Chinese OEMs are using High Frequency PWM which is being advertised as flicker free Display technology.
High Frequency PWM can be captured in Camera but isn't distinguishable by any normal human, no matter how sensitive are they to the seizure.
DC Dimming is different altogether.
I have s23 ultra I wanna say I m fully satisfied there is con I can find as the size it's big for me at first but now it's just normal for me 😂 and everything is great gaming is great too I played pubg at 90 fps and max setting no issue at all it's a beast
Been using s23 ultra since last 70 days and yes it's the best android phone ever made. And all those complaining about it's large size must be having small hands, otherwise i simply love ultra large size in daily use
I hope they bring a 2x option to the portrait video and picture, 1x is too wide and 3x is too zoomed in
Its coming. Wait for june update
The vibration issue is real. My S21 Fe also has the same issue. I can't feel the vibration in my pocket whenever I get phone calls.
Have you tried to increase the intensity of the vibrations in the settings?
On max intesity it's softer then my previous Note10+ at 1/5
Do you still get the classic galaxy watch s4 and ear buds on that offer if you don't exchange it for your note 9 ?
Should we buy samsung flagship starting s23 or vivo flagship x90 or x90 pro for 10 to 15k extra
Upgraded from Redmi note 8 pro to S23 ultra. Since this is my first flagship phone, I can't compare it to other flagships. However, I can say it's an absolute beast!

why should we not go for s23 plus, plz explain
I'm having problems with the display and I'm not the only one!
The brightness changes constantly when playing HDR videos, dolby or hdr 10 or 10+ all looks dim even compared to iphone 11 pro max.
And colors in s23 line up looks less colorful even compared to s9!
I only have two days to return it, should I? I mean is it possible that the problems will be fixed?
I don't think there's anything wrong with your device. I guess that's their new screen configuration now
Is the combo( watch+buds) offer still available ??
we need your review on renewed products by amazon and flipkart both
Review any of the upper midrange smartphone like in the price range of 35k to 45k for long term. Because we know flagships generally last for 3.5- 4 years minimum. But what about midrange phone in the long term?
hey prateek , pls donot tuck the collar mic in your shirt , cuz of that the audio quality is poor so from next time , pls show it on your collar , it will provide much better sound

Using s23 ultra, updated to July patch, anyone facing lag in image processing while taking photo from 200MP?
I'd appreciate it if you reviewed one plus 11r on a long-term basis

My new s23 ultra battery draining really fast idk why. I was really excited when I got the phone but now the battery is just messing up the whole experience. Any help
Hi TW Team,
I own a S23 Ultra myself and worst experience I've had till now is the"Wireless Charging" overheat issue.
Thanks 🤘🏻
At what price did you get it
Question for you: Why did you say don’t buy S23 plus.? For me right now the only deal breaker here is that there are not much colours on offer in India. And the ones that are available don’t appeal to me much. What else made you feel that don’t buy S23 plus.?
You missed the Good Lock Customization features, I like it very much

Amazon and Flipkart is Flodded with comments mentioning the Samsung Having A pretty common patrern of slowing down devices and downgrading the camera quality on a new flagships arrival which i have personally experienced too and the heating issues just amps up as days pass by with new updates. There is no denial that you will be forced to get a new device after 2-3years of usage. It was very tough for me to sell my S21ultra and i have pledged not to go to samsung anymore. S21 ultra is my 6th and last samsung device. The features are superior but the startegy is very unprofessional to slow down and heatup the devices after 2years.
I recently decided to go back to android after years of owning an iphone, got the 23ultra, its an absolute beast
Yes prateek, they did add that 2X zoom in portrait. Kudos to Samsung......
I think you meant DC Dimming, PWM dimming causes this flicker issue.
Listen i would love to buy samsung phones but the only the only thing that bothers me is the super slow charging, like i would pick oneplus for that only reason, otherwise the phones made are perfect
Lol, Slow charging really?
Then you're making a very big mistake.
In 30 minutes my phone (S22 ultra) charges from 0-70.
If that's slow for you?. Then go ahead with your one plus mate 😂
I'm bit confused between s23 and s23 plus. I watch movie etc on phone. Never play games. Is there any camera difference between them.
And how much exchange i can get for s20fe 5g.

And no theres no difference in cameras of s23 plus or the s23
How about the Social media optimization for S23 Ultra ? Especially Insta Reels quality
Could you please make a dedicated video on s23 ultra's voice recording feature(via its native recorder app) in terms of its transcribing ability and also the max. duration available for 1 recording (i.e. 10 min. max). Thanks a lot.
The buds and watch offer was only available during pre order but not anymore
I am in the US right now. There is an offer going on to buy an S23 ultra 512gb for just 370$ by trading in S22 ultra 128 gb. I was thinking should I or not and this video dropped. LOL
Prateek, what is the price of the better privacy you get with IPhone? I wonder why mist reviewers don’t talk about it when it comes to android bava ios.
