Watching this well filmed video at home here in Australia. I must say that I am envious of all the various well run and operated railway preservation societies in the UK. I am in my early 60's now and I hope to visit before I get too old to enjoy it, well done.

Great video featuring locations that I've not often seen. The coaching stock looks very presentable too. I went on a well known line some weeks ago and the stock was so tired and run down, it spoilt it for me. Maybe it's a shortage of volunteers, I don't know..

@@HenrysAdventures the moaner whinging about what was running. They do not appreciate the work that goes in to running events, which are getting harder to organise, especially as coal is getting very hard to source, and what they can get is expensive and poor quality. Soon all the steamers will end up as static exhibits unless they can be made to run on biomass. The sad truth is to some so called enthusiasts, they only want kettles, anything post 1960 is rancid to them.
