Hi all! In this video I wanted to use the same colors in different hues to create some bright and happy Sheleeart style spin art blooms. I had hoped to create three but ran out of time. Taking the week off and will respond to questions here and on Facebook next week. Enjoy!

I keep watching and rewatching your videos trying to channel Karen mojo! I feel your pain with those spoons. I use those plastic baby spoons. They are amazing! Pouring and resin. Works great.

Hi Karen, nice job and very pretty. Regarding the little spoon...they are actually a measuring spoon. One scoop per one ounce of pigment. Of course, you can use more, but those little spoons are ⅛ tsp. It’s just meant to help save pigment. They clean just fine if you’ll just drop them in a container of water. You don’t need to keep them forever as they come with every kit. I love mine because the short stem won’t tip over my cup.

Wet paint acts like a suction cup.
You can get cheap little spoons at the dollar store too. Have you found a substitute for Sherwin Williams ultra deep base? Always love watching you and always supporting you even though I don’t say anything.... i am just to sick. ❤️❤️❤️
I love your work. I have a question about your homemade medium and using house paint in general. Can you use a torch when using house paint? Or it is too flammable?
It’s not all that flammable but the heat makes it form a skin on top.

On the first painting, I'm curious why you didn't tip the canvas instead of spinning it so you wouldn't have lost that beautiful paint at the top?
These are gorgeous!! I heard a terrible rumor from someone else that also does this technique that they are discontinuing the Sherwin Williams high gloss paint 😱 Do you know if this is true?! I hope you have a nice week off!
Mother of pearl spoons are best for me
I have a (very cheap) tip: Instead of expensive and often quickly breaking nets, I simply take cut cardboard boxes, which I put on big cups (for example yogurt) over the canvas. Works perfect.
This allows for unfiltered air flow. I think her idea is genius. They have them extremely inexpensive and they fold up which is essential when you are trying to keep a messy artists area (my kitchen table 😲) looking somewhat clean
Just another helpful hint, I have discovered the spray Dawn dishwashing liquid. It’s lasting forever, and if you sprayed on anything while it’s wet you literally just half to take a paper towel and wipe it off to clean it and everything comes off in one swipe you don’t have to you know keep rubbing the wet paint until it dissipates. It’s absolutely amazing. it is so different from the regular Dawn dishwashing liquid.

can you use golden fluid carbon black for cell activator?
I am taking a mini break...having surgery on my hands! Trigger finger problems! Can’t wait until I can paint again. Hopefully handling the canvases will be less painful. Biggest problem will be eating my husbands cooking. Live in the country and very limited take out available. Have a wondrous time on your vacation!
