The Ghost Recon Wildlands BEST LOADOUT and Why

- There is a proper way to carry your weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands, and a loadout that works best for you. Here's what I carry, which hands I carry them in, and why. I have tested weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands since the game's release, and by massive viewer request, this is what I run - The TAR-21, the MK-14, and the P227. Here's how I customize them....

For you who are asking about loadouts: Best loadout is the one you personaly like.
In my opinion there is no all around best loadout. Every weapon is good for different purpose... if you can use it.
That is true. I tell people to use whatever they want. this game runs far more off of skill than equipment. That said, people always want to know what I run, why, and what goes behind it. That said, this is a very sound, solid loadout. thanks man :)
Darkdally how are ur stats on ur weapons so high
I use the SC4000 silenced as a primary because it looks cool. 😎
M4A1, MSR, and 1911.
then you are wrong

@@marvello3641 the main character from the splinter cell series. He wears the cool looking nvg goggles
@@dochidesu actually they are multi-vision goggles. (And this was back during a time in which multiple--vision-modes---in-1-goggle didn't-exist in-real-life). You have night-vision & starting in the infiltrate-the-CIA-building-in-Langley--mission you get thermal-vision added to it, and in Splinter-Cell:-Chaos-Theory you get Electromagnetic-Frequency/Electromagnetic-Field Vision added to it.
I miss the old splinter cell games,I need to find them for PS4.
I wish we had sights for our pistols
Yeah..... I'm fine with the iron sights, but yeah.
I never use the iron sights on pistol; always over-the-shoulder.
Rayen Fuljhari optics, variable iron sights , battle belts , etc... AI customization is enough for me . EMERTION at last !!!
Rayen Fuljhari
I personally think optics on pistols just look wrong. But it would be nice to have more options. I hope they add in new attachments or something in the future.

iron sights are very readable and there are the guns starting sight
Why are people coming to this vid to find the best weapon loadout but argue because the loadout isnt like theirs???
I disagree with the mk14. You can't replace the HTI BDC because no other weapon can 1 shot a convoy or helicopter at Vehicle Destruction 2. I don't want to upgrade vhc destruction more because it's already does way too much damage, but tier mode is insane and convoys/choppers always pop up at the worst moment, and being able to one shot them (and reinforcements!) is almost a must
I did the same until I got bored of the unrealistic nature that HTI BDC sometimes comes off ... its ridiculous to think 1 man would carry a .50 cal weapon around him all throughout Bolivia ... just get better and headshot the pilot with a semi-auto sniper like the SR25, G28, or Dragonuv. I'm on Tier 6 and never used the HTI after Tier 25. Made the game more fun, interesting, and tactical. NOT RIPPING YOU AS A PLAYER, JUST LETTING YOU KNOW HOW OTHER PLAYERS HAPPEN TO PLAY TODAY.
Bills Mafia I may try it
BFG requires no upgrade
I agree that weapons do too much damage to vehicles and it is ridiculous that we can still upgrade it. Ive always wondered that. But one shotting vehicles and convoys is also ridiculous and too easy. I usually make an ambush. I block the road with other cars, trucks etc and maybe set up one mine for the first car. I look out what trail that convoy is going, select a good spot, maybe block the road and order my team to the right place where they can take out/ slow down the supporting crew. I usually go further away of my crew, where i can focus only to that truck driver. Usually i go to opposite side of the road or in a turn, my squad is right or left, depending on enviroment and im facing towards the convoy. It takes time and it is hard sometimes but it is fun and more realistic. It would be so nice to have anti personnel mines also
in this game.
It takes about 5 shots in Tier 22 to destroy a heli / convoy lol
For those of you that don’t know. When your in stealth and haven’t been detected or alerted, it’s always a one shot kill with any gun no matter what.
Giovanni Cruz I had no idea, thanks
That's not true in my experience and I run the higher damage/penetration Mk17 with alternating G28 or MSR depending on mission profile. From what I've seen, only the most high powered long guns will one shot kill an enemy from stealth regardless of impact area. Rifles require a head/torso shot and pistols need a head shot. I don't bother with SMGs or shotguns.
SpecTRe X not true at all. If you are taking more then one shot to kill someone then they are already alerted to your position or they have discovered you completely. It’s ALWAYS a one shot kill with ANY weapon as long as you haven’t been seen yet.
@@813GC Like I said, this hasn't been my experience.
SpecTRe X Well that’s the case for everyone since it’s in the code, never ever had a case where none of my weapons could one shot someone while I’m completely undetected (this includes the enemy not even being suspicious or alert of my presence).

4 years later, and i'm jumping back into Wildlands. I'm running the AUG with long barrel and comp.v2 and grenade launcher, Barret with Suppressor and long barrel (For those long 450+ range shots and guaranteed 1 shot on everything, and it's semi-auto for fast new target takedowns), and the 5.7 for the large magazine capacity and decent sights.
Same dude. Replaying this game again. This is such an underrated jewel and idk why this game doesn't get talked about.
Running the TAR21 and BFG-50A. Idk why, I just really like this sniper rifle. Did a playthrough a few years ago where I challenged myself to never miss a shot with it. I succeeded lol
Bit late to this party but I recently picked this game up on a whim and have been enjoying it ever since. What I appreciate most about this setup, after running my own variant, is it lets me actually make use of all my weapons. I was running just the one gun I could use in all situations and it was getting a bit stale, now I have a reason to vary it up for reasons besides style. And an excuse to actually use my poor, neglected pistol.
Same! About a week ago and I love it! Reminds me of Mafia 3 which I loved lol
Better than most games now a days it seems
Well I’m really late then! I picked this game up off eBay for $6 and have been hooked ever since.
It is still the best offline shooting game I've played. 2024 and I'm playing the game again. I don't care what people say about this game but for me it's one of the best ever.
I love the TAR-21. However, I find the Desert Tech HTI is straight up a one shot beast
My main assault rifle is the R5 for the recoil control
What's the difference between the Desert Tech and the regular HTI?
@@D3fault451 it’s been a few years since i played this game but i’m pretty sure the desert tech HTI is stronger, it can one shot choppers and vehicles i think
@@zealous2835 the default hti can do that too. not sure if u can do that with vehicle destruction on 0 but you can

My loadout is M4A1 with suppressor,HTI-BDC -anti vehicle and P12 for close range stealth
Jindra Fenig my man ! I got the same at ur loadout
I also love m4a1 with suppressor, very accurate and perfect for landing headshot, however i mainly used mk17 during tier mode because of its damage
IkhsanRatdith m4a1 is really a best balance assault rife even with suppressor ( i only use c2 when defen mission ) , HTI just for sniper and destroy vehicle and my main go to base weap is P12
Jindra Fenig my loadout is similar but I actually use the P416 instead of the M4 because I like the look of it lol
I used M4A1 for the longest time until i stumbled upon the L85, it get's a lot of shit but I take out entire bases with that things
For pistol I use the 5.7 I use 2-3 different snipers.
Dally showed me how to enjoy this game over, and over, and over again. He knows what he's talking about; all of his ballistic testing have been done perfectly in a completely logical, scientific method. I like Wildland's to run simulation from movies like 13 Hours or Zero Dark Thirty. Also I never realized how much the range finder helps, and his idea of having a loud weapon and suppressed weapon is brilliant. Love your stuff man! Keep it up!
thx man :)
My preferred loadout:
HTI + P90 + 5.7 USG [FN FiveSeven]
Why:
HTI - damage and effective range
P90 - magazine capacity, accuracy, low recoil, real life preference
5.7 USG - magazine capacity, low recoil, successive shot accuracy, real life preference
Notes: my real life preference really influenced my choice of sidearm and secondary... and for once, a game reflects those real life experiences. There are a lot of guys with more experience who will argue with me, and that's understandable. Preference is largely based on platform familiarity and experience. Both of these have landed well to my preference of both 5.7x28 ammo, and its respective platforms. There are a couple typical uses for an SMG where the P90 doesn't work well. It's larger profile prints horribly, so concealed carry is nearly out of the equation without significant clothing allowances. While it's profile is larger, the silhouette is extremely manageable, and its AMAZING capacity doesn't include a magazine protrusion. The shape and rounded surfaces require a significant amount of training, as wet grip is an issue. Obviously, this isn't an issue in game. Aside from wet grip hindrance, the overall shape and profile lend extremely well. You really have to fudge your carry to get it to snag, but the rounded surfaces require LOTS of familiarity to develop a solid feel and repeatable grip. In m opinion, the P90 redefined the SMG segment. While other platforms took a pure tactical vs. pure carry stance, the P90 bridges the gap extremely well, while lending more towards the tactical advantage. While it doesn't conceal as well as an Uzi, the accuracy is worlds ahead. Engagements up to 300m aren't out of the equation with the civilian barrel, while the short barrel is perfectly capable of dispatching targets at 100m with the proper ammunition. The absolute greatest thing I love about this platform, is ease of carry. Literally, no other platform in this segment carries this well. Any position of nearly any reasonable configuration lends well at-hand, and quiet. Honestly, you won't find another SMG that carries as quietly as the P90, aside from an HK MP series... and they generally lack the flexibility or accuracy, unless you have LOTS of experience, combined with the frame size and strength required to control the recoil. Even then, the P90 still exceeds in capacity and accuracy. The FiveSeven pistol is a great piece of kit as well... if you can handle the grip. I have small hands, so the grip doesn't feel as natural... but it only takes about a 1,000 rounds for the ammunition and capacity to shine over any qualms.
ain't readin allat
Personally I use grenade launchers on my Assault Rifles to take out helicopters and other vehicles in my way
@Orangutan Beatz the desert tech HTI can get to full damage with like 10 upgrades
Orangutan Beatz how do you get it?
the HTI can one shot helos (asside unidad gunships)
The special version of SR25 can one shot pretty much every vehicle
I just use the HTI dessert tech, it’s a vehicle destroyer. I have never seen a vehicle I shot not explode
I've paused at 5:51 to add my experience and i'm only half way through my first play through i'm LvL 26. I completely agree the point about going loud eventually! Personally I use my silenced sniper rifle (haven't decided the right one yet but right now it's the MSR) and I take out enemy snipers then move in with my silenced side arm and usually I get detected sooner or later so I switch to my MK48 LMG!!! This seems to work well for me but we are all different and I appreciate the work Darkdally does to give me the info I can use to try different configurations. EDIT; I haven't yet acquired the MK14 although have been wanting to since the start because of my experience in COD with it and for the exact reasons explained in this video ;)
Here it is, 4 years later, and I am still enjoying this game. I like my loadout to be like what my actual loadouts were like... So I like the M4 as my main assault rifle fitted with the Comp M4 or the ACOG. For the sniper rifle, I like the M14 which I used while in ROTC. For the SMG, the MP5 is my Go To. Now I will use the M203 on my M4... but back in my day the M203 was on my M-16A1. Close enough. There's no M-60 like I used... but I did use an M-249 for a bit just before I got out, so I'll use that if I need an MG for Helo-Swatting. I wish we had Hueys in Wildlands. Yeah, I'm old. LOL
M4A1, Desert Tec HTI, and lady killer is my go to load out
same apart from pistol i use the standard fn5.7 rather than lady killer just because i want that carbon fiber paint job on it and my m4a1
what setup is your m4 mine has long barrel range finder acog and grenade launcher with gl it actually ads as fast as some of the vertical grips and with acog and long barrel i can range everything using the scope markings
Still running with the SR25SD and MP5SD, with m1911 sidearm.
For ghost mode it's typically acr or again SR25SD.
Absolute classic.
I also feel wildlands is closest to the old SOCOM series. 🥰
*"Stats don't matter in stealth"*
Noise reduction is a major stat to look at for stealth. Not all the pistols are the same because some have max noise reduction while others do not. This may not matter on the simple difficulties but on Ghost Mode Extreme it sure does.
Facts
Was thinking the same thing. GM was where I learned to always pack a UGL because it’s so easy to take out reinforcements and helicopters and then instantly switch back to infantry. Plus it doesn’t lower your stats too much
I have an unsuppressed assault rifle and most of the time shots arent heard. As long as there is a suppressor, noise level doesnt make a huge difference

the G28 scope with the red-dot reflex sight is also pretty useful if you're playing the daily challenges which frequently involve "do a short-range mission using only sniper rifles", so you can use the same sniper rifle at any range from 100's of meters up to point-blank.
I love love the vector the most simply because it fires super super quick and has no recoil and reloads unbelievabley quick.its range isn't great but I like the close kill anyways
I wouldn't run the higher cap STANAG magazines from a realism standpoint, as I wouldn't trust the reliability on them.
those high capacity mags are Surefire 60s but in the game they are 50 ........
Handling the Surefire 60 in real life is actually really practical for its profile for both storage and firing. Drums of the same or higher capacity tend to be impractical for an infantry role. One could argue that the balancing to 50 rounds is meant to increase 'reliability'.
But all seriousness aside, I once taped two fully-loaded Surefires together to create a 120rd dual mag. The benefit of the quad-stack width allowed the mags to be placed as close as possible without the need for spacing. Surprisingly the weight and bulkiness wasn't as bad as it would seem, considering it would only added 4 lbs to a standard rifle (8lbs) compared to the 16lbs of an unloaded SAW.
+Anon E. Mus the slanted weight of the other 60rd mag on the side didn't cause any feeding issues?
The set-up was never test fired, but when the balance was positioned on the outside of the shooter and rifle (right side for right-handed shooting), it would torque the gun in an unnatural position, yet when the balance was inside, the slanted weight was close to unnoticeable.
There is no denying that it was far more tacti-cool than practical, but it was a funny idea that turned out to have some level of usability.
I find that switching load outs according to the task is best. Sometimes I run a PDW with a 7.62 NATO battle rifle and magnified optic. Usually an MP7 and Scar H. If I know I will be doing a lot of sniping I will run that scar H as a primary and the G28 as my DMR. I will also switch to dedicated sniper rifles for longer range shots and clearing out camps or towns of enemies. I tend to not pay too much attention to the specs and run stuff setup similar to what I use in real life. The R5 with an Aimpoint T-1 is a great all around rifle if you train with it. I run Cans on everything since I have the perk that doesn’t effect damage with suppressors installed so it makes no difference other than enemies not being able to detect you. This game might be the best 10 bucks I’ve ever spent
I play this game since a month or so. I m not finished with the story yet.
So my loadout is 5.7 Pistol with supressor and the three dot laser, i like the look of the pistol and the 30round magazine. I use it a lot and for stealth infiltration.
When SHTF I switch to the SR3m with GP25 without suppressor and Micro T1 this optic gives me a wide field of view and quick target acquisition. Normally I only use semi auto and try to hit my targets instead of spray and pray. Its a remnant from my former german military training. On full auto I fire only short bursts.
For long range engagement i use the SR25 with rangefinder, supressor and ACOG as optic. The ACOG has a 4 time magnification (max in this game is 5.5 so it doesnt really matter) and a wide field of view, on the other optics i tried out i cant see my surroundings so well i play solo so situational awareness is key for me. Usually I dont take shots above 350 meters my longest right now is 511 meters. I get used to the bulled drop with the ACOG and a higher magnification isnt needed by me. The SR25 gives me the capability of a quick follow up shot if i should miss or the target moves in the moment i pull the trigger.
Nice man! Thanks for watching
If you want to roleplay a little, 5.7 pistol with wearing the splinter cell outfit. I don't recall if there is a SC-20K in the game or not, so just outfit and pistol is as close to being Sam as you can get.
The problem with placing follow up shots is if you kill the target on the first shot, the body does not soak any more bullets so it's essentially a missed shot and draws attention where it lands.
Friend: Hey I heard you had a PHD
Darkdally: Yeah
Friend: Cool, whats it in?
Darkdally: Ghost Recon
Always double tap with the pistol. I use the FN 5.7
FN 5.7 because you get the pistol and 30rd mag in the same low difficulty area.
my load out is M4A1 or a vector .45 ACP with BFG-50A or HTI and Five Seven Blacklist or Lady Killer
Nice video man, I run the tar21, srsa1, and m1911. Appreciate the thoroughness and depth of all your videos as well. I learned a thing or two.
Thank you for all of your videos and all of your hard work Darkdally! This game is so great, and I love how much you’ve put into it.
Always clear always concise on your opinions. You have helped this late comer greatly with your videos. Peace all...til your spotted.
Interesting points about the Mk14, gotta look into that. I use the Tar-21 as well, but I actually use it as a suppressed sniper. Even with basic red dot sights it's accurate enough up to 200-250 meters (single shot) to take our enemies with ease, and switching it to full auto when the shit hits the fan. My second gun is Mk249 LMG, for when things go loud (used this for killing the Predator too). For pistols, I too usually use P227, mostly because of its accuracy it's ideal for shooting lights & alarms inside a base. This is probably due to the good iron sights you mentioned, but the accuracy doesn't hurt. Thanks for the videos!
My feeling is that the best loadout consists of whatever you feel most comfortable with, and of course you need different tools for different jobs.
I personally prefer the M4 with an acog and m203 as my main go to, paired with either an HTI for convoys or a Mk14 for sentry removal. If things are certain to get messy (as in a rebel radio op) I use the M249 with a red dot, for cqb I usually run an mp7 also with red dot. For`a sidearm I haven't much preference, but typically go with the 5.7 for it's ammo capacity and penetration vs. Unidad heavies.
Ultimately it's about whatever helps you put bodies on the floor the best and that has a lot to do with individual play style.
P12 sidearm
G36 + M203 SHTF gun with capability to fight vehicles very effectively
G28 long range weapon
Same
MP5 suppressed for when I'm clearing out a place up close, and a suppressed HTI for long range (remove the suppresor for taking out helicopters quickly).
When it gets loud, I rely on rebels and hope the MP5 pulls through if needed in that situation.
“I’m here to kick ass and drink whiskey, and pilgrim, I’m out of whiskey.” -- John Wayne --- let`s see that custom Cowboy build!
I play as a complete sniper. I use no SMG's or Assaults Rifles at all. Only sniper and in a few rare moments - Pistol (close up stealth kills although I prefer to mash their heads in).
I however use flash/frag grenades and mines a lot. I always make sure I can't be ambushed and puts up traps where I think the enemy might pass if the alarm gets raised.
And if I notice that I might get overrun, I move away from my position and hide somewhere else. Since we are supposed to be ghosts, we shouldn't be seen or engage in any longer firefights.
I also play with no minimap so I can't afford staying in one place if shit hits the fan.
So my weapons are the MSR and HT1. MSR is my main weapon and HT1 is the back-up for those vehicles one kill shots. So my kill distances is between 200-500 meters.
As long as no one notice I am there, it's super fun to snipe. I am always trying to find spots where I have full visual view of bases and kill everyone from a distance.
Always trying to increase the average kill distance with is now 139 meters. But I have the problem with the rendering since my PC is actually starting to become a little old.
It's actually very challenging but fun, putting these restrictions on myself. I try to role play a little and increase the immersion so I use light gear only with high mobility and proper camouflage.
My bag on the back is the camel one, which I pretend only contains ammo and scopes. I am not allowed to change weapon but only scopes. Very fun!
while these guys are talking like they are fighting in actual wars your post actually makes sense and makes the game harder and more challenging and realistic. Kudos, Ill try it. Do you then just park the team back always? How do you approach missions on small islands, shoot from boats?
I used Vector , but now Im gonna give the Tar a try . I love the MK 14 from CoD , anyway good video :)
PDR as an anti-personel gun and BFG-A50 as an anti-vehicle and material gun. Five Seven Blaclist as a pistol because it looks cool af
if you want a gun with NO recoil try this: TAR-21, iron sights, v4 grip, compensator v2, 50 round mag, standard barrel.
that's the exact build I show in this vid except that I used a scope. optics do not affect recoil. Only barrel length, underbarrel, buttstock, and barrel attachment do.
I love you vids your the best😆😆
The scopes affect the recoil a little bit
Chinese Master I assume this is with the higher magnifications as it makes recoil more apparent
I just found this video and this is also my exact weapons loadout (except for some attachments).
I max the Handling for the TAR-21, max Range/Accuracy for the MK14, and Accuracy for the P227.
You should have a LOT more subscribers, at least 100k because you deserve it. 27k is so small amount

Hi Dark
The TAR 21 was always my "go to" primary for at least the first 200+ hours of the game. But now im really enjoying the Russian SR3M ar, (the stats on it lie) Its very fast, accurate and efficient. Even on full auto.!
Uilliam Coorinna
Indeed. Its perfect for the suprise vehicle attacks!
I do love the SR3M. It was my most used assault rifle in my original playthrough of the game :)
Darkdally
Cool, although it does get a bit messy when its singing.!
A nut for G36C here
Have you used the MDR? Been my go-to AR since it came out, such a nice gun
Play mostly Ghost Mode now.
Use the 57 Blacklist and often swapping between the 556xi, LVOA, and the SR3M depending on my play style...
Pretty much always have a shorg barrel, ACOG, ATPAL, and GL, but use the 30 rnd Pmag on LVOA and 50 on 556.
SR3M and LVOA are fast weapons for close work, but LVOA performs well at medium range as well. My 556 is if i know shits going to go sideways and there's gonna be a gunfight.
My loadout is probably 80% performance, 20% aesthetic.
If you have the perk where it disables suppressors reducing your damage on weapons you should be fine on having suppressors on all your weapons like I do and it is extremely effective.
Yeah but the sound of the weapons on this game are just addicting.
The only issue with the "going loud" is some require no detection so you can't go loud or the mission is a failure.
The other thing is you have the option to remove the suppressor once discovered if you like.
ACR with MSR and M9
Kyle Jorgensen Didn't know the tier mode upgrades changed that much
Kyle Jorgensen Alright thanks for the info man I'll keep it in mind
Arosch_ m9 is dirt
I use ACR(attachments for accuracy), P90(attachments for handling), and the deagle lets me destroy helicopters
I use this loadout also but I find the ACR has lots of recoil. Any suggestions ?
Why does this guy have not have a few more views i mean this is genuinely open and not just Yes This the the best weapon since aslong as you can use it its good thanks man
The gear or outfit you using look really heavy. But hey, everyone has their own taste. I prefer civilian/hiker-ish look. Much better since well, you gonna blend with civilian a lot. Great vids btw!
Thanks man
Bro, how are you going to blend in with the civilian population two fucking rifles on your back, along with all your tacticool gear? Seriously, lol
Ghost1170 wooo hostiles, i did say everyone has their own taste, didnt i?
Besides, i use camelbak, with any weapon that is low profile. P90 and mp7 especially.
i like to kit myself and my squad out like a proper SEAL team. looks badass when you walk through the jungle as a group.
Good job. I've been using the Tar as well. Sometimes I use the ACR too.
What I have ran basically the whole game is tar 21 with msr and 5.7
Thank you Darkdally for the informative video. You're definitely right about having the 28scope on the M-17, because you can change the trigger to go single-shot to rapidfire, not-to-mention, the scope boosts the M-17's stats in accuracy & range. It's a great rifle for many basic loadouts. For "going loud," I use the G2 (for its balanced stats & almost no recoil ). My TAR is setup for stealthy operations.
While I personally use another Setup, you´re bringing some good Arguments here. Really great to see you doing GRW Videos again. Keep going, you´re doing a great Job!
Thanks man
My go to are the TAR21 (digital scope, 50 round mag, range finder, grenade launcher, compensator v2); MSR for long shots and SR25 for
Absolutely good video man
Thanks so much mna :)
Its OK
Awesome! Usually in game I get all kinds of patronising comments, especially telling me I'm stupid for not using the HTI, asking me have I not heard of the HTI, why am I not using it, etc etc... I run the TAR21 and SR25, so was so happy to see you recommend these two. I did try the Mk14 but wasn't as much of a fan as of the SR25 but maybe I'll try it again. Pistol wise, I like something that fires quite rapidly. I think I'm running 5-7 but I forget.
STILL some of the best Wildlands content out there. 🙌🏽
thanks man :)
My Ideal Loadout
M4A1 - Acog Scope, CompV2, V4grip, Large Mag.
SR25 - G28 scope, Suppressor, range finder, large mag.
P227 - 3dot, large mag., suppressor
Overall, it feels very American, balanced, versatile, & accurate. Its my main for almost any recon mission.
However ... my "ambush" or supply raid load out is very different ..
AK-47 with grenade launcher and works well for close-medium targets, anti-vehicles, etc.
Dragonuv with POSP for more precise long range targets, convoys, anti-personel, HVTs, etc.
D-50 in gold camo for popping off the remaining stragglers in 3rd person is just so satisfying; or interrogations and getting a close up.
After playing ghost mode for so many hours, using 2 weapons feels so wrong now.
right? my go to is the m4a1 tactical, it’s super reliable and versatile
the pistol is important if you go stealthy. with good accuracy and range you can use the pistol for targets over 150 m. even in tier mode the starting damage matters when it comes to downing a heavy in on eor two shots if you have to get two targets in quick sucession. when detected i would not switch weapons but stunlock with more pistol shots. pistol stats matter. and 5.7. is the best all around.
you could use a assault rifle for longer ranges but its really unnecessary so i would go for the best stats and use it when stealth is no longer an option. so silencer is just a matter of taste at that point. since you cant control horizontal recoil i would always go full accuracy to get the smallest shot groupings possible. since you cna only buff the raw damage in tier mode i would always go for a high fire rate. Famas G2 is the best for the job.
the last slot has to deal with long ranges and armor. obviously the HTI is the best option for both purposes. the only possible targets out of lethal range while in a base should be snipers and the low drop on the HTI allows for clearing every single sniper tower pefore entering, no matter how far. that way swithcing weapons in the base is not necessary. to deal with vehicles the main advantage to using a HTI over a Grenade launcher on the AR (lowering the accuracy) is the range. vehicles in the distance and helicopters can be dealt with long before they spot you and ruin a stealth approach or give away your location. since it only needs to be used from long distances and to quickly deal with reinforcements when stealth is no longer a option a silencer is not necessary.
The pistols are so important. a good pistol can do the job on all distances. all the other weapons can be set up far better with specific purposes in mind. while in stealth there is no need for any supressed guns other than the sidearm.
I’m curious about this because in tier mode, especially anything below tier 35, the M14 (and basically any other sniper rifle that isn’t the HTI or BFG 50) will be a severe liability.
The argument is “well just use a grenade launcher” but the fact is you should have both: a GL on your primary and a secondary that can knock out the heaviest vehicles in the game in one shot. If you don’t, you’re toast. Most of the time you don’t get a chance to lay in 6-10 shots on orbiting helicopters or an armored unidad suv with a mini gun. You could take out those vehicles before they are even within range, with one shot, from a BFG 50 or hti which can do that well outside the range of the M203 or STI.
The best loadout efficiency wise for tier mode 30 or less will include the HTI or BFG50 and a GL on your primary. It sucks, but that’s just how stupid enemy aimbot AI is as your work down. You simply don’t have time to line up shots unless you’re in stealth.
I love the SR25 and the M14 (I’ve used both in the military so they hold a special place in my heart) but they just aren’t efficient for high tier levels...unless you are undetected.
I disagree, I use the MSR and I don’t have any issues.
Bigger mag, faster rate of fire. Only requires 1 extra shot to take down a chopper.
On top of that the HTI 1 shots resource convoy vehicles, the MSR weakens them enough to stop them.
HTI is an overrated 1 trick pony.
I use MK-17 assault rifle set up as a mid range sniper / battle rifle. One shot kills if heads shot on all on extreme.
Once you get adv suppressor then one shot body kills on all regular troops but not on officers or heavies. I use range finder , suppressor , digital scope , foregrip v4 , long barrel and put it on semi auto. Second weapon is mk249 for when things go wrong. 150 clip , decent penetration and recoil so long as you use short bursts. I have it set up for max accuracy. Pistol as you said doesn't make much difference , I think I use the P12 I like the sight.
'Shit happens in this game, you get discovered and then you have to go loud eventually, so why not just start loud'
Yeah thanks dude think ill just go watch a Video by someone that knows how to play
This is a very enjoyable and playable loadout, thanks for this!
Thanks!
ACR comp v2 w/ silenced P416 and fiveseven
I’m pretty new to GR W and this video was really useful! Thanks man!
Good shit dark
Thanks man
This is a pointless loadout, you've drastically limited your combat effectiveness.
for silent operations: R5/M4A1 + MP7 + P12
for general operations: G28/SRSA1/AK-12 with GP/556Xi + Evo 3 + 5.7
destructive operations: HTI/ACR with M203 + Mk 48 + 5.7
💪🏻💯🔥 killin it
R5 RGP - 30 Mag, Long Barrel, Range Finder.
Balance stats, especially the RoF because I don't want my accuracy go down below 90%, yes I play all missions as stealthy as possible, but still this gun packs serious damage when un-suppressed.
SR25 Sniper Rifle - 20 Mag, Standard Barrel, Range Finder.
Balance recoil and Rof, very good for short to mid range (400 meters).
Would you create a SAS / British army build? Would b great!
I do plan to, yes
Darkdally thanks!
Absolutely love everything about this loadout, very well thought out and tactical, everything has a reason for being there, and you being able to justify every little weapon part makes it the perfect build, the only thing I changed was the primary weapons foregrip to that grenade launcher. Both have an equal tradeoff, and I just like using that grenade launcher in my playthrough. Very well done video, and goes to show that there isn't always one perfectly right answer, it comes down to the player to make their own adjustments in the end, but you've got it down to a science. Keep up the good work!!!
I like using the M60 because I'm evil and I laugh at my poor avatar as he lugs it around the Bolivian wilderness.
Lol, during this exercise in basic training no one wanted to take the SAW because it's like 20 something pounds with the 200 round bucket. So I carry it. It ended up being a good decision because it was me that ended up taking out the Op4 squad from a defensive position during an ambush training exercise pretty much by myself. Blanks of course and they pretended to die but still.
I've always used the long barrel on TAR21 but u have a good point with shorter one combined with range finder!
Take a shot Everytime he says "why"
I did and now I'm bleeding out. I hope you can live with yourself after I die.
@@bakersmileyface pretty solid way to go out
We Go Out Like Men
Assult rifle-Mk 17, compensated buttstock, TA31H(ACOG), Extended mag (30 rounds), M203 GL (for vehicles), ATPIAL Laser, Long barrel, suppressor. Drops any enemy with a short 2-3 round burst
Sniper-HTI, T5Xi Tactical scope, long barrel, suppressor. One shots no matter what and will break most vehicles with a single shot
Pistol-P12, extended mags(20 rounds), laser 3dot, suppressor. Highest damage pistol that you can get normal and put a suppressor on (same dmg as 1911)
Shotgun(for house clearing)-SASG12, panoramic sight, large mags(30 rounds), Shift short angled grip, long barrel, compensator. Full auto shotgun with a 30 round mag for clearing floors
Your voice is exactly like Dr Robin’s. 🤔
Much respect for you man you took the time to figure all this stuff out but everyone just remember that load outs are personal preference
He said the SR25 is his favourite sniper rifle but its a marksman rifle and he should know since he was in the military
lol yes but in the game it's a sniper and a damned good one.
Me personally i prefer the G28 with the G28 scope because it's more quiet compared to the SR25 but the SR25 has way better accuracy in my opinion
The SR25 can be used as both a DMR or semi auto sniping rifle. It is world renowned for being a second man mid-ranged rifle for sniping teams using anti-material primary. It is the perfect choice for a scout sniper, a rifleman or specialist reconnaissance sniper.
your fucking dumb
Shiloh Pacheco chillout man you probably dont even understand why he said that
Love this. Not all that different from what I use myself. I run the P416, G28, and P45T. One thing that I have found to really help with recoil is actually the short shift angled foregrip. Obviously we can all agree the stats don't matter, but I've noticed the higher you accuracy is the lower the recoil. But also depends on the weapon and rate of fire. I typically keep my AR set to semi auto so what type of grip I use on it or my DMR has no real noticeable effect, but if you have your AR set to auto or are using an LMG or something. Having a high accuracy rating, which the Short Shift Angled Foregrip can help achieve, makes a pretty noticeable impact on weapon recoil.
Appreciate your content here Darkdally, thank you!
556xi short barrel, foregrip v4, comp m4 works really nicely
Will try it out today. Always trying out loadouts, when it comes to prime and sec. Weapons. Thanks again for this great vid. Always enjoy watching them 👍 have a nice day.
thanks man
You need to do a video like this for Ghost Mode, since you get a pistol and one longarm. love your show man .
Just started the game about a week ago for the first time. Absolutely incredible game, chill and fun. That being said, I was looking for some videos on the game and ran into this. The amount of crap you spewed here is borderline hilarious. I ain’t even gonna go into the details of it.
The best advice you can give someone about setting up a balanced loadout is that you should always have a weapon for making contact (if you are on the attack), taking contact (if you are on the defence), and a suppressed pistol as a backup piece. If you play around with the weapons enough you'll find the ones you like best for each of thos categories and will be able to develop a very comfartable build.
Personally I run the MK17 with Acog, short barrel, x20 round magazine, and AFG as my primary. For my second weapon I carry the MP7 with panoramic sights, and the x30 round mag. For my pistol, nothing fancy, P12 with an extended mag. All of it suppressed.
I play on extreme, go straight to the hard areas and wear all white in the jungle.. I use whatever assault rifle and sniper rifle they let you start with.. with the yeti print.
I use the MK17 as a sniper rifle with a grenade launcher and silencer, and for situational such as taking down heli's I carry the starting LMG as it had best recoil. This is at release.
Brilliant. I think you have put some real thought into your load out and you sold me. I will try it out for a while. Thanks
Personally from my experience, you dont just swap to your right side weapon from pistol. You actually switch to the weapon you were holding before swapping to your side arm, whichever it is you have. So before running into a base either going loud or stealth, selectively choose which primary you want to switch to from your pistol so you know the comfortable range and time to kill the hostiles around you.
Great video as always! Would've enjoyed seeing some live footage demostrating your recommendations. Thanks!
Thanks!!!! I been playing for only a couple months so anything helps.. but, only one thing, when you go hunt for the predator, you have to have the "Dutch cigar." Lol..
I tend to switch up my loadout often but my most basic loadout is like: ar's as my primary not supressed mk17, tar-21 or f2 sometimes using smg's like mp7 or scorpion evo 3, as my secondary snipers and marksmanrifles supressed or not sr-25, msr or g28 and supressed pistol 5'7, m9 or m1911. Biggest difference to u as gameplay wise i use pistols on 3th person view instead of firstperson view. Nice vid, keep up the good work!
Great video! I agree with having complementary primary weapons. I've also died so many times when I didn't plan to have my quick fire on the right.... Haha
tavor is notable but lots of people ignore penetration values so that's one of the reasons I used SCAR H in later parts of the game. For 5.56 I used mk18 but earlier also hk416 with a grenade launcher. I use smallest magazines as possible to balance out the grenade launcher. I also use short barrels for the same reason. short barrel in 7.62 will not reduce damage that much. Mk18 is pretty good choice, I remember I later switched to g28 without any suppressor because at long shooting you will never need a silencer and at short rangers if you will reach for g28 it will be too late to use suppressor. Pistol 57 as there isn't a better pistol in the game overall from what I saw.
