- Liz Truss stormed off the stage after pranksters unveiled an embarrassing lettuce banner behind her during a live interview.
The former Prime Minister, who dramatically lost her seat in the General Election, was expressing her support for Donald Trump when the prank took place.
Unaware of the sign reading "I crashed the economy" appearing behind her, it triggered laughter among the audience prompting Truss to exclaim "that's not funny" before leaving her seat and heading backstage.
Footage shows her forecasting Mr Trump's victory in the Presidential election and emphasising the significance of the economy.
She only became aware of the banner above her when a visibly nervous man stepped on stage and pointed it out to her.
The awkward video captures her anger upon realising what had occurred.

The joke is on us, of course, and it isn't particularly funny. While everyone is laughing, the British public got royally stitched up. I defy anyone to explain how exactly Liz Truss "crashed the economy", because most people don't understand it at all, including most writing pithy comments.
Here's the story. Truss and Kwarteng announced a budget which spooked the markets. Why? Because their figures were wrong. Why? Because the Bank of England took actions which affected revenue forecasts and *didn't tell the PM or Chancellor*. Instead, they went to the OBR, who then leaked their bent forecasts for the budget to the press.
So Liz Truss didn't crash the economy... the BoE and the OBR did, and I'd say deliberately. She was scapegoated and Rishi Sunak - former Goldman Sachs banker - was installed instead. Convenient.
But don't worry about it. It's a lettuce, heh heh. Just look at the lettuce.

For us in the UK, Trump was a better president because of Trade Deals. Biden is apparently Irish, refused to do interviews with the BBC cos he said he's Irish? (Don't think any actual Irish people, like Cillian Murphy, would care about a BBC interview) and also put a complete halt to any Trade Deal between US & UK for reasons unclear ??? I think just as punishment?

Anyone with any shame or awareness of the damage they'd done in such a short time in office would have retired from the political sage, but it was merely a month or two until she was trying to rebuild her political career by blaming everyone else for her decisions.
