Nice! Removed mine to replace capacitors and was very afraid of breaking the glass. Now I know how to do it the right way Thank You.

I am so glad I saw this before attempting a bulb replacement on my R129. I just ordered the dash tools but I see I don't even need them with this method...

Great video, wish I'd seen it before I attempted to replace my bulbs. I even had the correct tool but still managed to crack the cluster plastic unfortunately. This is definately the way to do it.

Hi Kevin, yes I watched a few videos trying cluster removal with special tools but I thought it could be too risky. Thanks for Watching.

Hi, I have a MB 300SE year 1992 and have some problem in the instruments cluster. I need to remove it to repair or change the clock and to check the environment temperature liquid cristal display. Do you know if the method you describe applies to my car? I'm from Santiago-Chile. Thanks in advance.

Would this method work on a W124? (to remove the cluster without using the pulling tools)
