Scout just wants to chase the chickens. Also I dont think its a brake line issue. After driving it around today it hasn't been dragging at all. I think the other side just needed a little work. Will keep an eye on it. I've never had a brake line collapse before.but will keep it in mind.
@@mechanicalmystery7891 I have seen it 10 plus times. Just replaced one on a 07 F-150 today. They will look fine on the outside but the inside will be collapsed. It will let fluid go to the caliper but wont let it return causing the brakes to stick
Dude, don’t worry about what other people think. Yes, you probably should have changed the rotors. However, it’s your truck and the repair you did make it safe for the road. The rotors and pads can wait.
The black smoke could be turbo stuck. Or egr valve stuck kinda open. Or someone turned up the fuel on it. But if they did you would know. It wakes them up pretty good! As well the timing belts or belt depending on the year should be at least looked at. There great little engines! Grate find! Good luck with it! 😎👍
If I remember right when you go to change that axle boot you will need two roll pins to get the nut off, I'd put the bucket's in it give's you way more leg room. Think the ground for the lights is on the fender near the battery if I remember right. it's looking good though thanks for sharing
Trust me you will be replacing the other side also. Should have also got rubber brake lines. I have worked on Vehicles for 50 years and Dodge ( Even though its a mitsubishi) When you replace one the other will go.
8:16 You need to peel back the wheel cylinder dust boot to prove no leaks. 24:34 There are "Retro sound" car audio companies that build head units you might like. They fit like the original, they have classic styling, but all the electronics are modern. They can sync to bluetooth cell phones, too. I think Summit Racing has a lot of options. I like this idea, I really liked the stainless steel car stero that my mom's 1985 Nissan Maxima came with. I'm sure a Mitsubishi Sigma V6 would have had something similar in appearance.
I had a total of 4 ram 50 first was the best bought brand new. 2.6 2wd royal model. Others were 2.0 trks. Had a hard time finding parts around 2015. Junkyards had a lot of them here in so can not many left all have been scraped. Good lul trks. Keep it on road
Teach the dog to herd the chickens. Could be a collapsing rubber brake hose.

I know what it is, I have just never had it happen to me.
That's the size and type truck I need. Something to run errands and take out the mini & dirt bikes.
I think my three wheeler will fit perfectly in the bed 😄
Ha, my dog talks to me like that too. Take her with me whenever I can. Loves to ride around.

I agree, keep it original. It's a really cool little truck, I've always been a mini truck fan. 👍😎 Thanks for sharing!

Given the age of the engine, just buy a timing belt, belt related hardware, and water pump. It is a huge risk not to.

Awesome find man! I'm jealous!

Or braided stainless lines
Definitely re-boot the CV before the axle is ruined, if its not already. I imagine they're also hard to find.

Rock auto always coming in clutch

Rock auto saved me with the caliper. Going to keep it out of the scrap yard for sure.
Keep the bench seat. Your pup will like it better
That is true.
I just found out that I own a 84 Dodge D50. But here in Australia we call them Mitsubishi Tritons
i was going to suggest Rock auto and then i saw the package the only thing auto zone and advance are good for is oils and minor stuff🤣
Rock auto for the win. Will be useing them more for sure.
I always reuse. That stuff. Always will. Anyone who tells not to is trying to sell you something.
interesting truck
Use seafood in your fuel and intake it will help
Check the timing belts ,if you break the cam one it will destroy your engine
I think the first gens have chains, at least mine does.
@@BrandNew4U. . mine is a 83 and it has 2 belts it will brake rockers bend valves and tear up pistons
Replace the timing belts. Also, replace all hardware connected to the timing belts and the water pump.
You should probably spare yourself the aggravation and go ahead and replace all the rubber brake lines. Cool truck though.
What’s the part number
use only 93 grade gas the other grades will cause spudders
Its a diesel
if you can get 93% 100% unleaded your best bet
Dump the diesel, put a hemi in it
Lol
