The only gripe I've had with you in all of these years following you is you don't break other sports so I could know I was safe in grabbing those from you too instead of someone else I don't trust as much LOL. What's really messed up is you gave Adam 12 packs n the pack that had that had the elly to 25 should have been Dennis 2nd pack it was the 12 pack down in the stack sorry Dennis
I would give up on cards altogether if that happened to me. Dang man, I feel bad for Dennis.
That is the worse part about not doing this live
Actually if you watch it; pack 12, which had the Elly, was on top of the pile when it showed the back of the pack. He then ripped that one first and set the four cards down. Then the other 11 were ripped. Then he picked up the stack and flipped it over so that 12th pack was the first one he went through. What needs to be done is he should count out each person's 10 packs and then lay their name on them instead of counting out 10 each time. Everyone from Dennis on had the wrong first two packs. @beliedat2457

That’s a big card, and it’s a bummer that there is confusion on who is the rightful owner. I enjoy watching Jabs breaks with his knowledge of baseball and cards. I hope he makes this right. I’m no longer a patreon member, so my voice or lack of $ doesn’t have much of a say.
Oh wow. This is a really bad situation. I wouldn’t want to be Dennis most of all. I wouldn’t want to be Jabs for the blunder and I wouldnt want to be Adam because he has to wonder if he gets that Elly. It would happen on the Elly $1000 plus card too. That’s how the universe works. Man. Not sure what to do besides tell Adam sorry but it was Dennis’ card. Then send Adam a decent box (jumbo or bowman sapphire box) to make up for it. But then you have to look at the first two packs for everyone after that and see if any super pricey cards came out of those. Sucks.

I love how everyone that has nothing to do with being in this break except watching the video comes to complain about a mistake……….. HE IS HUMAN AND CAN MAKE A MISTAKE ……….. I guarantee he will fix the mistake and make it right ……….. RELAX
But Jabs gets it I think. He mentions all the time about recording in one take so there isn’t any funny business accused. It was his honest mistake. But it’s still a big one because that’s at least a thousand dollar card. So unfortunately the village has a right to say something.

Stuff happens, Jabs. With the hundreds if not thousands of videos you’ve made, the batting average is pretty good.
You should look into pro mold one touches, you can put a card in a penny sleeve and it fits inside the one touch, instead of having the penny sleeve on top of the card. They offer more protection in my opinion.

LCS pulled this card raw goes for 700. PSA 10 is over a grand

Erik you did make a boo-boo. You were saying how autographs were falling about one in every 12 packs. Then counted out 12 packs instead of 10 by mistake. Packs 11 and 12 were opened first and placed upside down as if they were packs one and two when revealing.
Yeah and unfortunately the extra packs contained the elly de la cruz /25 auto. Which sells for about $1000.
My guess before watching is 4 autos and 6 numbered..

I wasn't able to watch this video last night, but saw your "I made a mistake video" first, so came to see how it unfolded. No one is perfect, mistakes happen everyday, but i will say you went above and beyond what you needed to do. I would have watched the original video, sorted the cards out correctly for everyone then explained what happened. Technically, everyone after Denis was messed up too. You keep all the piles in order, so would have been somewhat easy to fix the stacks. I am pretty confident no one else or breaker would have done what you did. They would have just fixed the stacks for each person. While it was a little costly for you, it will probably be the better investment for you on the long term with your viewers and patron members.
Ouch.. Everybody makes mistakes, it’s human error. I’m sure Jabs will make it up to Dennis I would hope.
What I have found from personal experience. Every Jumbo box comes with two silver packs . 1 of the 2 packs contain a Sig or limited / card. So there should be 50 color in all combined.
With Chrome at the prices, it is now, I have made the decision to NOT buy any blasters or packs, I'm just going to try and find the singles I want and forgo all Chrome packs this year.

Errors happen. This is all random in any case. All the different ways those packs were pulled from boxes, then laid out, then put back in stacks, and then how each person paid. Stuff happens.
Unfortunately I have only been able to get one hobby box for myself.(Haven't been able to work or drive since November) I only got a base pack, but your rip was fantastic. Lucky guy who got the 2 extra.

I guess this is why your “job” is opening cards and not working on the international space station or dosing medication for seniors. Own your mistake hook up the guy who got screwed with a comparable elly card even if it costs you and move on. That’s the only way to make this right.

I understand calling him out for a mistake but why do you have to go there and try to belittle someone? And no, I’m not a “jabs minion”, I have never purchased a single thing from him.
