They're even rivaling IndyCar now with a new Chicago street course on the schedule this July to have all track types: Speedway, Superspeedway, Short track, Stadium Track, Road Course, Roval, and Street Course. Not to mention the Garage 52 entry in Le Mans means they are interested in Endurance racing too.
I like the flash of the prototypes and GT3's, and the raw racing of the MX-5 series, but this level of racing seems to hit my sweet spot. Thanks for posting this race.
This is perfect! I’be been binge watching Michelin Pilot Challenge races from the last couple years, and I was just finishing last year’s Daytona endurance race and I see uploaded. 🔥
What a whale of a race!!! The TCR battle was epic!!!!! Harrison Burton will be the future of Sports Cars and Nascar racing. And I know the people got their money's worth for this one!!!!! Outstanding job IMSA and the announcers did an outstanding job. And thanks for quoting the Who!!!! The song the Kids are all right!!! Which is true!!!!!
1:01:34 That's not the grey and green 28 Porsche that Mcaleer drives, that's the grey and green 39 Porsche. So, it's not Mcaleer 's Porsche vs Mcaleer's Mustang. I don't know why the 2 Porsche's have such similar paint schemes. I don't think they're team cars.
They really need to adjust the bop on the caymans. Every year they just seem to alway cut through the field like it’s in a higher class. Especially towards the end of races they always seem to go supersayain and blow through the field. Very boring and predictable. Not impressed. Great race other than that.

I’ve been watch this series for quite a while and it’s just something I keep noticing. To help you out a bit, go see where that Porsche was and how easily it got to second place. It would have won if there was 1 more lap.
The Cayman with its high top speed is a great car to have at Daytona with the long straights. Relative performance of the cars may differ at other tracks ;)
@@szymczak34 except it’s not just Daytona. Bop should be equalizing it a bit better. I mean come on. All the cars were rolling chicanes. Who want to see that. And I’m a Porsche nut too but I want to see competitive racing.

Porsche needs a visit from the "BoP fairy", who will hopefully leave a few hundred pounds under their "pillows"...
They always get the "wind at there back" or they threaten to pull out mid season and IMSA caves.
