Not a 1.5v or other lithium battery Also, the ones you can easily find are NOT RECHARGABLE if someone actually does this the battery will probably leak and perhaps set itself on fire and it will not even power the earbud.

Magsafe power, 2x Thunderbolt, 1x USB, and 1x 3.5mm digital/analog audio out. Still a pretty good machine though, even if you can't upgrade the 2009 past El Capitan now... (10.11.6)

The new Mac Pro got a 9/10 repairability score. However someone pointed out to me the concern of having a non replaceable SSD that has the OS on it. Also considering the issue that SSD's are known to have a more brief lifetime, especially under heavy use.

The major reason why these earbuds aren't fixable is mostly legality issues. If people started to replace the battery themselves and got the wrong one it could explode in their ears. Also its not a smart move for the company when warranty is a thing and they can almost guarantee them to last that long. After that its free money when people want to buy new ones again.

Well, yes, hardware can be repairable now, because the planned obsolescence was replaces with forced obsolescence, in future Microsoft will also make the hardware to a piece of junk through software like Apple does for a while now, Updates that bust fill the harddrives with junk and use other methods to slow down the system, so anyways people will be forced to buy new devices continously, because simple texting apps that would basically run on a Nokia 3310 can't run on a 240 core CPU with 120 Terraherz and 1024 Exabyte RAM (to exaggerate a little) because the new OS doesn't support that device anymore.
