Jay and the Americans have always been a top favorite of mine since the early 70’s and its nice to see three of the original members sill involved. The majority of older singing groups you are lucky to have one original member if that. Example check out the Vogues, not one original member and have the gull to share stories of “back in the day”. Jay 3 ALWAYS pays tribute to Jay Black in EVERY SHOW..... He's a class act . He idolized Jay Black his wrhole life. Truth of the matter is, the original members bought David into the group after Jay Traynor screwed up. Then after all the hits PRODUCED BY SANDY, they went their separate ways and three original members Sandy ,Marty and Howie, they are carrying on the sound. . Get over it. They are doing a great job. Go see them

AND the original band was Sandy Deanne, Kenny Vance and Howard Kane. Jay was still singing at 79 and sounded better than this guy.
jay didnt steal the name sandy is the one who started the group & when jay black filed bankrupsy sandy hired this jay who was singing there songs in his own band for yrs &jay number 3 i love his voice !!! he can hold the notes fantastic peformer !!! more passion then the others!!
