Thank you! I watched this ages before actually opening a tama up myself, and while I could complain at myself for procrastinating so much, I'm just happy about the knowledge and comfort that seeing a video gave me! I still made a few mistakes, but they were all resolved quickly 🥰

Thank you so much, I have an original from 1997 (yes I'm old) and took it apart because the screen wasn't working so well. Gave it a clean but something fell out (the loose piece that keeps the screen in place) and thanks to this video I could put it back perfectly and now my tamagotchi is working again!

I came here to figure out how to fix my tama because it got wet and part of the creen doesn't work now. I think it might be that that piece of paper got wet. Thank you! ♡

Very helpful video, thanks Erica! I still can’t get two old Nanos to work properly. The screen displays are very faded, even with fresh batteries. Any suggestions for how to fix this issue? Many thanks, Joe.

Do you have any idea if it could work putting one tamagotchi's glass screen to another one? because I have one tamagotchi that I don't like very much and works ok but have another one that I love and doesn't work because the screen broke... and I was wondering what would it happen if I trade one for the other but I'm afraid of breaking the only one I have left :s thanks!

I found my old tamagotchi. It works but the top and bottom menus don't show up. So I decided maybe I should clean up the contacts and the rubber pieces popped off. Now I want to put it back together properly. But this only showed how to tear it down.

Old but great video - Question: if you take off the rubber ribbons, does that ruin it, or can you just put them back in place?

That's exactly what I cam here for!! I accidentally removed one (more like it got detached as I was putting it back together) and I'm not sure of that's why only half the commands wont turn on.
(The options to feed, eat, play, all that stuff.) And the screen won't stay on, have to press the time button to wake the screen??
I have the same tamagotchi in the video.

Hi! I have a bit of a challenge. I have a tamagotchi music star with a leaked lcd, majorly so. Would you happen to know if I can fix this some how? It looks like you took off the lcd screen here, do you think I can swap lcds? Furthermore, do I need a music star lcd or do you think i can use a different connection lcd to swap? Pls help my tamagotchi!! I can send pictures if necessary!
