Thank you so, so much!!!! I followed this video to fix my tamagotchi connection v4 from my childhood! I accidentally drowned it as a kid 😂 you don't know how much getting it working again meant to me 💖 I actually teared up when I saw the little egg appear on screen. Thank you again for posting this 🥰

I have this exact model but it auto shuts off after 15 seconds. I want to fix it but I just can’t unscrew the 4 mini screws :’D

You know that little metal prong that presses against the metal? I JUST replaced the batteries to see if mine would work, I had the egg pop up and beep, and when I closed the back and turned it around, the eggs had disappeared, I then took out the battery & bent the prong under the battery a bit upwards to keep itself pressing and holding against the battery, and a full 24hrs later it’s still working

I didn't want to call it a repair, all I did was clean it to bring it back to life. But hey, call it whatever you want.

I wish someone was selling replacemet parts like circuit boards or SHELLS omg
I broke my tamagotchi connection v3 shell and circuit board of it is a bit damaged, so It shows some dead pixels... It's so depressing I cannot time travel lol

Can you further explain what you mean about a battery being left in it causing a short circuit? Is it recoverable? I found an old one and I was so so excited but it’s not turning on. It looks just fine to me so I’m unsure

I know this video is 6000 years old... But mine has started to lose pixels... One of the inner screws has snapped in half and i can't pull it out now obviously...
I've pulled it apart already cleaned the contacts with metho and such.. But i can't fix the lost pixels... They're gone in straight horizontal lines... I need help 😭

That is something normal it does I think it's some type of motherboard bug or something mine doesn't do that and yes I know your comment is 1000 years old

to remove the yellowness you need to take a plastic bin fill put UV led lights above it then rap the bin in foil only on the outside of the bin then put the yellowed pieces of plastic in then fill it up with hydrogen peroxide then turn the led's on then leave it there for a day then take the plasic pieces out this is called retrobriting
