    I had delivered to a mailbox one time and had no idea it was a federal offense. Amazon wrote me and told it is a federal offense and if it happens again they will have to let me go. I was omg 😳 lol so blessed it didn’t happen. Having flex comes in handy.

    im in San Diego and here a 4 hour block is $80. I picked up a 2 hour block for $41. Including commute time and the time to scan packages i spent a total of 3 hours. I also spent $9 on gas and I got $5 tips (for delivering 44 packages). In the end i got $41-$9+$5= $37 for working 3 hours and here in San Diego Target and Walmart are paying $15/ hour. That's pretty messed up.

    • @1smartivy
      @1smartivy  3 года назад

      I would personally never accept a 4 hour block for $80. The least I will do a 4hour for is $96. I can also spot the routes and know which one I want to take. Usually my routes are close to my home so I don’t spend that much gas. Have you tried waiting the routes out to get the price bumps?

    • @1smartivy
      @1smartivy  2 года назад

      Hey! Thanks for dropping by! I would think you wouldn’t be able to get 2 blocks each day. It’s not very common. But you also won’t be able to work 7 days a week .. at most 5 days. So for me I would make about $500-$900 a week. But the rates differ based on where you are. Here is a video where I show exactly how much I make ruclips.net/video/r6lz_l8dUAM/видео.html

      I live in Houston too and sometimes I can get the really high rates ($30/hr), a quick tip would be: if you know Amazon has blocks everyday from 5pm-8pm for example, and Flex drivers can cancel orders 2 hours before, I would check on the app around 3pm-4pm and sometimes the last minute cancellations will search for anyone and have the rates higher. Doesn’t always work but it does happen!

    If you are going on other peoples property please do not give their animals “snacks”. This is for many potential risks to the animals but also the drivers safety. It is NOT uncommon for animals to be food aggressive.

    Amazon flex sucks. They say you can get hours to fit your schedule, but push 4:30 PM and later shifts in areas
    where it's all apartments, and of course no parking. Don't waste your time.

    • @1smartivy
      @1smartivy  3 года назад +2

      You have to go in the app everyday and click schedule and open the calendar. Then set when you are available that day. You will start getting notifications for those specific times. I usually get pings for evening shifts but only bec that’s when I set my availability for. However, today I changed it bec I’m off my primary job for a week and I immediately got offered 4 shifts but I didn’t want to work today so i will check tomorrow

    • @heasven1

      @@1smartivy How do you that ?
      If i go to Schedule, it just shows that i dont have work schedule for today and just gives you the option become available now.
      If i go to calendar, it just gives me a blank calendar with no option to pick a day where i want to work. So im confused how you do that and how you get 87 offers like in your video. The most ive seen is like 4 at a time, but they go so fast you get a chance to choose them

    Tip #1 priority packages should be up top first, not on the bottom of the list
    Tip#2 yellow stickers shouldn't be covering customer name
    Tip #3 why is a flex driver and self employed contractor can ONLY MAKE 40 HRS A WEEK🤔
    Tip #4 why when you moved up in points and levels you barely see jobs?🤔
    Tip #5 why a level 3/4 flex driver have a weekly schedule.
    Tip #6 AMAZON SYSTEM SUCKS
    Tip #7 package on the app shows a L box but the actual package is a small item in a plastic bag🤔
    Tip #8 If I send you a email with a screen shot saying👉🏿 no available blocks but don't worry you will still get paid👈🏿...just pay me my money according to your policy and keep it moving!
    Tip #9 your last package shouldn't be 19 minutes away from your area, then you see a red message 👉🏿This package is late, contact customer to see if they still want it👈🏿🤔
    Tip #10 All these base out of California Gigs were SET UP AND MODULE BASE ON CALIF, THAT'S A RED FLAG

      @1smartivy  3 года назад +2

      I’ve learned all the routes and know all the codes so when I see one too far away I tell the yard master before I scan that I can’t take that one bec xyz… or if they try to make me take it I find any little thing wrong with the packages and send them back with the yard master. Or if someone else is next to me I ask them where are they going before they scan and ask if they want to switch if they live closer to the area I’m going. Good luck! 🍀

    hey, I am in the program some of the client's instruction is unreasonable like they expect you to deliver the parcel to their unit in a locked entrance of apartment.
    Soon later an email was sent to me.
    Policy Violation: Did not follow customer instructions
    As an independent contractor, Amazon expects that you will maintain customer trust, perform services in a professional manner, and follow the instructions provided to you by Amazon or the customer. The service standards are intended to achieve this.
    Within the past week, "we received one or more reports that you left a package in an unsecure location. Customers expect that packages will be left in a secure location - a location where packages are not visible from the street, not exposed to weather, and not visible in high traffic areas. If you have trouble finding a secure location to leave the package, contact the customer or Support for additional help."
    There are a range of issues that can impact your eligibility for the program, including:
    - If you’re not courteous, respectful, and professional toward others
    - If you don’t select an accurate reason when you can’t deliver a package
    - If you don’t promptly return all packages you couldn’t deliver back to the original pickup location
    - If you don’t acknowledge and pick up all orders assigned to you during a delivery block
    - If you don’t follow all steps required when delivering alcohol
    - If you violate any of the Independent Contractor Terms of Service
    If you don’t follow our program policies and Terms of Service, you will no longer be eligible to deliver with Amazon Flex.

      Sorry that happened to you. However, if you don’t have any access to the customer preferences, you should always always call the customer TWICE. Leave a message at-least once. Text them once and call driver support. Usually, driver support can get in contact with the customer some kind of way. They will let you know alternate instructions or tell you the customer said to redeliver another day. Either way, you should always call driver support and let THEM document for you .. that way you won’t get dinged
