    Otherwise let me know what you think of this wallet!

      @@tentax1210is it easy to the 25 word phrase? I’ve never used that feature before. Never available on the wallets before. Okay, maybe it’s not so bad everyone seems to be making it out to be. I’m not using my wallet everyday - nor am I needing to use it for hours on end - so as long as I get battery life, I’m good with it. Can the batteries be replaced?

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 месяца назад

      A 25th word is easy to use. You just enable the feature and enter your own unique word which creates a new (hidden wallet) with new receiving addresses. Just make sure to not lose this word, because it effectively becomes a part of your seed phrase.
      And yes, the battery drains quickly. As I stated in the video, the device is still useable, and there are things you can do to reduce battery consumption, but don’t expect it to last more than a few hours when using it.
      As I said, Onekey will be releasing a firmware update to hopefully optimize battery life by reducing power consumption.

    Hopefully, I'm not OT. I'm searching for a hardware wallet with the possibility to add a note to each transaction. In my opinion, it's very helpfully to get an overview of the history of the transactions. Exodus supports this function, but I'm looking for a hardware which supports this function, too.

  • @davidmc1975

    Unfortunately it doesn't support Dynex which was my only reason for purchasing the wallet. You get a message stating that you need the classic model.

    Man now I have to ask. What do you have against cold card? Unless I'm blind I can't find a single Coldcard related video on your channel, yet I find videos of wallets I've never even heard of before. What's the scoop? Just biased against them or BTC only wallets in general?

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 месяца назад +1

      I’m just not big into BTC.
      I actually have a Coldcard, I just don’t use it much. Eventually I’ll review some BTC-Only hardware wallets though.

      @Solo6R 2 месяца назад +1

      @@cyberscrilla Fair enough. I respect your opinion and being honest about it but I will say I've never met someone who isn't into BTC, but IS into altcoins. In my experience you either have BTC maxis (myself), or BTC and altcoin holders. But altcoin maxis are new to me! :)
      But now I'm even more curious. What is it about BTC that you don't like?

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 месяца назад +2

      It’s not that I don’t like BTC.
      There’s just massive upside in meme coins. It’s unlikely you’ll find a 100 or 1000x in an alt coin right now.
      But it does happen with memes.

      @@cyberscrilla At any rate, your reviews are top notch, and very well put together. BTC only wallets might not be your personal go-to based on your own personal investment decisions, but I think they'd be just as popular and well put together as your multi coin wallets, content wise. So I look forward to those. Cheers man! Appreciate the civil discourse with differing opinions. Hard to come by on the interwebz these days!

    How do you compare it to keystone 3 pro

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 месяца назад +4

      Keystone 3 Pro, although slightly more complicated, is more of a finished product. The battery is better and the air gap works better.
      Onekey Pro seems unfinished at this point (Keystone did the same thing when they launched the 3 Pro) so I’m hopeful Onekey’s Pro will only get better over time.
      But Onekey does have their native app whereas Keystone doesn’t.
      If you really want air gap, keystone is better at this point.
      If you want a more user-friendly wallet with a native app to manage your crypto all in one place, I think the Onekey Pro is better.

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 месяца назад +1

      I wouldn’t be so dead set on using an air-gapped device if your only goal is increased security.
      Research shows that air-gapped devices aren’t much more secure than a non-air-gapped device, if it all.
      Malicious data can still be transmitted even through QR codes.
      For security, I’d look for something that is user friendly. You’re less likely to make costly mistakes with a user friendly wallet.
      Along with a wallet that offers industry standard security features (Secure Element Chip, PIN protection, 24 word seed, and passphrase).
      If you don’t like this wallet, look into:
      - Onekey Classic 1S
      - Trezor Safe 3 or Safe 5
      - Ledger Flex
      All great options in my opinion.

    I love the design and the software.
    But i found two issue which makes me skip this hardware wallet.
    1: $278 is alot overpriced since it has only 530mah battery because keystone has 1000mah and cost only $149. You could also compare it with ngrave which cost $100 more and has 1200mah battery. So yes it is alot overpriced.
    2 issue: you can only connect to phone onekey app by bluetooth or to computer onekey app by usb , where keystone or ngrave use qr code to connect. I dont see the point of onekey pro is based on qr code when it is almost useless.
    I kinda feel you are mostly paying for the design and not the features. Because keystone has 3 chips too, allmost same as onekey.
    Also they should add wirless charger since the price is so high.
