Got myself an Angry Orange just to scratch the itch I had for better Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins tones. Really loving it. Have you tried any of the other new Keeley 4-in-1 pedals yet? Would like to see what songs/bands you use them on.
I have them all! They’re all amazing, I really love the angry orange for ds1 tones, so so good. The noble screamer and blues disorder are my favourites though!
If you want to get even closer I highly recommend checking out NirvanaGuitars here on RUclips, his videos go super in-depth with what kind of stuff Kurt used and even some history behind the gear and songs and stuff so go check it out and hopefully you'll find what you need there as well
I've always wondered how they got the clean intro sound for Lithium. I've never heard anyone nail it, but you came pretty close. I've also heard he used a big muff for the distortion
Okay you need a bit of reverb and chorus I think and you need to play the chords a bit sloppily to really get that sound and yeah, kurt used mosrite pickups to get that really glassy sound on songs like lithium and drain you!
Would love to see an episode on either the Definitely Maybe guitar tones (specifically slide away), or Revolver/Sgt. Pepper by the beatles
I wanna see a vid on CAKE's kinda jazz-like songs
Ay bro… what happened to your hands? You okay?
Gréât séries, id love to see a « tone hunter » series of popular bands tbh
How did you mic it up?

Butch Vig said he used a Bassman , The intro is very clean , not a Vox AC30
@@ItsBlitzyfam I don't care what you think unless it is about me
