I love everything these guys do. Maybe because I'm old and can relate, I don't know, but I know I very much appreciate real down to earth class! And pMJ has it in spades along with each and every one of the crooners they have participating in this beautiful symbiosis of musical styles! Love you all!
I'm 19 and can't get enough of a lot of oldie-but-goldie stuff like vintage music and collegiate dancing. There's something powerful about making the joys of the old into something young and alive again. It's like digging up something from the past and reliving that life from its start to its end. Oddly enough, modern tech such as videogames and AI-colourized videos have helped me steered into this direction and see how simply lively everything is. I sort of live in that space too (computer programming) and I'm hell as sure bringing all of this culture with me. Love Jazz. Love New Orleans. Love the lindy hop. Love the shag. Love 1918 hits (After You've Gone).
@@dunzek943 the old stuff still has legs buddy! Truly a wonderful testament to the toe tapping innovative creative minds of decades ago. My parents were around dancing up a storm in the late 20's and 30's even into the 40's big band era. My sister and brother were born in the 40's, so I got to hear everything on the radio my family listened to from the stations in NY as a I grew up. Loved the 50's and 60's music. Of course I grew up in the late 50's and 60's so I got a chance to listen to my own genre! I consider myself lucky. Even my son got a chance to appreciate all the music I listened to. You have a good life bud and enjoy!
