I think this may be your best review yet with the perfect mix of car shots and information, location views and witty conversation. Love the Mazda 6's looks, space and driving dynamics and I can get it in a manual trans that adds to the fun driving. I'm in Mazda!
Great review. We went to the dealer today to buy either a Mazda3 or a cx-5. I wanted the Mazda3 for mileage the wife wanted the cx-5 for additional space. So I decided let's try out the 6. After she got out with her huge grin I knew what we were getting lol. We got the touring model in red. I can't say enough about this car. From looks to handling and the interior is beautiful. All 3 were great and you can't go wrong with any of them. I really love the 6 though just a hair less mileage but a lot more room in the back seat and a nice large trunk.
Great review, Tony. I am with Mod Matt: this has to be close to if not your best yet with the spectacular scenery your Nature Break featured. As for the Mazda6, glad you reviewed it, as I am very interested in it. A good friend of mine NorCal has one, the Grand Touring version, and loves how it handles. I think the sweet spot in their lineup is the Touring model, cause the price is good, you get the 19" wheels and some other goodies. For a hopeless case like me, you can also get a proper manual gearbox.
Zoom Zoom, Thanks for the good review. I test drove 14 vehicles in past 2 weeks. We narrowed the top two BMW #1 and VW #2. When we went into the BMW dealer the other day BAM they had the Mazda 6 in the showroom, it got our attention. We test drove it and BAM Loved it. I am buying the Grand Touring with Tech Package. ONLY option is doesn't have that the BMW does is Heads Up Display. Your review is what I needed to hear now. I have had a few Debby downer reviews and UGH made me get second thoughts.
I recently bought a Mazda 6; drove it to Vegas and didn't experience anything better than 27.6 mpg. The A/C is cool but never cold even while set at 73 degrees. The Honda 2014 by comparison is freezing at this setting! Also the radio continually stops playing, stating no HD service. Would still buy this model but not happy with the above issues.
I really like this average guy's reviews haha. I am conflicting between mazda cx5 and mazda 6. Would you tell me which one is nicer to have for a highschool student?
Do it. I just bought a 2015 about three weeks ago and it's a great car. Fun to drive and I'm averaging 34.4 mpg. Oh.....and I got the manual. Very nice.
Gregory Wills I just bought it and I'm in love with it. I kept my old Mazda too. It was a 2003 Mazda Protege5. They are great cars. I got the manual also.
Hey Tony, now that the Fiat 500 Abarth is available as an automatic, you can look for one to review, since I know how much you like them, this your chance to experience a hot little hatchback Italian style!!
Hey, you answered my question about the CX-5 pretty quickly so I've got one about the 6. Have you ever heard of anyone getting one of these with a manual transmission with the Moonroof/Bose package? Mazda website's says you can't have both, but I've seen in the past where the dealer can work something special out. If I could get those two things in one car, I'd be all over it.
Good car but some cons. Needs tweeters on higher panel sides of car, everything seems to only come from front dash window, missing that more surround sound like other cars. Can also be too noisy from windows on highways.
One downer, the 19" tires, UGH they run around $245 a piece...Thats a grand to replace thats just crazy. I buy Michelin Defenders 90,000 mile tires the Goodyear 19" are a crappy 45,000 that suXXXXX
What BEAUTIFUL place Tony! Thanks for sharing it with us. Now, about the car. When I see a fully loaded Grand Touring with those beautiful wheels and large tires in that Red it just takes my breathe away, But the lower models I wish the wheels had a little bit more bling to enhance the beautiful shape of the car. I see a lot of Sonata in the base models exterior. Not saying they're the same car. Obviously I'd rather have a $30K Mazda over a $30K Sonata. ANd the Sonata don't offer all the advanced safety tech on the current gen. Now, about your peeing on camera lol
I'm in the market for a new vehicle. I test drove a 2015 mazda 6 gt and I was not impressed whatsoever with the power. Spend the same amount and get the Subaru Legacy 3.6R AWD. Spend extra 10 grand, and the get the infiniti q50s AWD. Bottom Line: The 2015 Mazda 6 is overpriced.

Nice review. The car looks great, love the styling and interior

After driving new cars for the past 3 weeks, my old lady's steering is so lame and slow that I don't know how I don't crash more often
shame :(

I thought Mazda no longer sell their cars as rental fleets

ha ha nature breaks :) yes the 6 is slick when you get to the top trims. It's a great driver too!
Would you choose this over a Honda Accord Sport?
The touring had leatherette in 2014 not any more?
yes. :) thanks for watching!
subbed for nature breaks
Thanks!!!
Great car, but the base trim wheels and rubber are awful.
You are a cool guy
Thanks! So are you👍🏽
U going to try and get a corolla s for a review
yes - it's on my short list for upcoming reviews - thanks for watching :)
I'd rather go for the Subaru Legacy 3.6R. It's far more better than this one...though doesn't look that great!
Vikas Sheth the new Subaru Legacy is very nice!
