Lovely video, my man! Always love your stuff. It’s all “you”. Keep it up! You are part of the short list of inspirational people on here that gave me the courage and the “why not” to give this hobby a go here on the ‘Tubes. Thanks.
I remember reading the solo gm guide by geek gamers and not totally agreeing (though I still loving the book) but finding with time she may have had some good points. Like creating the setting first… that rule set should be one of your last choices. Seems you are leaning that way too.
Similar but I suggest familiarize yourself with the setting first then create your story within it followed by encounters main antagonist and protagonist if you choose and last characters. This has far more replayability because new characters can always be made and not completely character depended story have the world a living thing to itself seperate from the characters. Another reason for this if choose to branch out whether it be in a campaighn module or just a campaighn of your own the foundational ground work is already in place.
@@artichokedip9150 yeah I think all of us can just suggest what works for us and hope it sticks the landing for others. Not all you suggest works for me, but some does. It’s always worth considering nonetheless. I am happy to hear your new intro kinda decry FOMO… which is a serious problem in any hobby.
