I love the way he ends his songs. They kind of gently float away with him singing the chorus. A lot of his songs do that.

Thanks for the great reactions on Bob Seger. Everything by Bob is fantastic. Bob is revered in Michigan where he is from. You would enjoy Like A Rock, which was used by Chevrolet for years to advertise Chevy trucks. It was practically their national anthem. The deal with Chevrolet came at a time when there were a lot of autoworkers unemployed due to the economy. Bob donated much of the proceeds he received from Chevrolet to help the unemployed autoworkers. That’s the kind of person he is. 👏👏👏

This song and many others from Bob Seger were like the soundtrack for my youth. Live Bullet is a great album too 👍

Oh my gosh...that "Night Moves" album was on every 8-track in every car back in 1976! I couldn't relate to an album where a singer sings about his misspent youth, but I sure can now! Great lyrics and great production on this album. Bob's voice takes me right back to those days.

Bob Seger is an extraordinary story teller through his kick-ass music.

One of my favorite handful of Seger songs. The whole album this is from is a fantastic look back at early adulthood from a fellow in is early-mid thirties. It gives all the songs a wonderfully nostalgic feel. Even if you weren't "there" at the time, it feels as if you can remember it when he sings. The perspective of this song is from a young fellow hanging around outside and looking in through the barroom windows, because he's too young to go inside, but there's this one dancer who catches his eye, and he's remembering the innocence of youth and the longing that accompanied it. I know. I was that teenage kid standing outside the Oasis Bar in Wahpeton, ND, trying to see the dancers and drinkers inside the bar.
For a next song, I'd recommend one from the same "Night Moves" album, called Rock & Roll Never Forgets.

As deep as his music rabbit hole is this was my favorite. I finally got to see him on his Final Tour and it was 3 1/2 hours of AWESOME 🤩
He had the biggest bass saxophone I've ever seen
    Not on this song though.
This is what music sounded like before everything turned into plastic.
    "Night Moves"
