Law student here. So glad to see that they did their research about how legal proceedings work. It is very common to have a single SWAT police officer arrest a minor, take them to the "federal state penitentiary," and then have the police officer set their bail at one million dollars.
Swat officer here. I regularly walk around my neighborhood off duty and beat up children, put them in a cage, and make them give me 1,000,000 dollars.

Well that is what happens, ever heard of dead time? I did a week in a medium/maximum security jail after being arrested and waiting for bail. Went into general population and everything. Court dropped the charges but still did a week in jail. Presumption of innocence my ass.
