    Great video!
    Recently I installed the equally length Valvetronic exhaust system on my friends' M4CS. The fit and finish were very good/ excellent and the improvement in sound was just unbelievable. The customer service provided by Valvetronic was exceptional when we had a question during installation.
    I look forward to getting a Valvetronic full titanium exhaust system for my F90 M5!

    Happy I made the switch. I liked my previous exhaust system but noticed some of those inconsistencies you mentioned in the video and kind of just “lived” with it. With your system those things are no longer there and I although it may sound similar to other companies, when you really pay attention and have had the opportunity to run both systems you can tell there is a difference.

    Next video should be showing the difference in sound between the stainless steel and titanium setup.

    4:35 why did you design the S pipe to enter the midpipe at a sharp 90 degree angle? that's horrible for flow, the exhaust with the flex section at least has a smooth Y section joining the two pipes

    • @valvetronic
      @valvetronic  11 месяцев назад +4

      very good question. The reason this is done is because the expansion section in that area is designed to increase velocity as much as possible to maximize the F1 sound. Having that merge be rather tight means the exhaust gases are forced to accelerate quickly, which improves the sound. As the exhaust diameter expands, there is a large scavenging effect having the exhaust gases, get drawn out more quickly.

    For the full titanium exhaust, would that be installable on jack stands or would I need a shop to do it? asking for g80 m3.

    The man himself! I found out about it via FindingNick. I do have a question. Looking to get a Mustang by summer and looking for an exhaust for a deeper tone, not the raspy one. Can ya'll do that?

    • @valvetronic
      @valvetronic  11 месяцев назад +1

      using our universal mufflers, you can achieve that. Make sure that you keep the mid section resonated to eliminate rasp and improve the depth
