This has to have been by FAR my most favourite piece to play just because the bass line was so FANTASTIC. I so appreciate the fact that us tubas got something fun and interesting to do other than the usual "oom-pah-pahs" that we usually get. And the percussion part? Amazing =) There is just so much I love about this song!
The clarinet parts for this are sadistic but so much fun to play once you get them right, not necessarily the most amazing music ever written but so much fun to play.
we play this and i'm on bass drum my director told me to play real loud the whole time so it sounds like theres a non-stop beat going it's sooo sick its awesome
We were playing one of Mr. Hazo's songs, and he visited our band and said that we played better than anyone he'd ever heard too. Maybe he just likes to encourage young musicians. :)

Played this for my band last concert. Trombone 2 was a fun part. The quadruplets around measure 111, now that was fun.
The absolute most fun I have ever had playing a piece.
Currently practicing this for Wind Ensemble, bass trombone part is so fun
I'm on piccolo too! I'm loving all the upper octave stuff!
ahhhh i love this song! this is like my favorite all time song my school band has played, this song is sick!

We played this for our Wind Ensemble! I had the first horn line...it's a wonderful rhythmic line for horn!
The horn part on this is soo much fun! We played it at a music camp it was just so much fun

Doing this song this year in symphonic band its..... interesting for a lack of a better word
dude, I got the timp when our school did it. How often can a timpanist get a melody outside this song?
@AlchemyStudios666 there is.. but it's expenisive. it's some website online, forgot the name of it though lol.
I got the trombone.part for.this. go low brass
SHOWWWWWW
my band had this turned into a marching show.....
yay!
The oboe part is so hard on the mouth. But then again, what oboe part isnt.
this sounds pretty hard to play if you were a woodwinds person, like flute, especially flute. it also sounds pretty cool marching music.
@lizzyb313 lolwut
