How to deal with the target panic? Here is one more training method you can try to re-wire the brain 💪🏼🏹
PS: Before making a comment of "oh this is so stupid, is this a joke" etc, please google what means target panic ;) Thanks!

"Archery for normal mortals" - haha, I loved that
Also, I can see the reasoning behind this method. The so called 'target panic' arises when your mind gets stuck in the idea of 'must hit the target' and therefore everything gets tense, body, mind; so more that you stay in that state, the more you'll get a miss and that keeps feeding the 'target panic'.
After loading and pulling the string (after some practice your body will remember the action, so you can have trust in your body, no need for any taught to interfere) In the moment you take your sight from your target, the tense mindset will kinda reset and come back to it refreshed.
This kinda shows that throwing an arrow is more then hitting a target. ;)

Yep indeed! And it’s usually triggered by seeing the target… especially the yellow center at fita target 😝 that’s why we need to break some habits to rewire the automatic nock-draw-release, especially in horseback archery where we need high rate of fire this is a real problem.

That's quite useful. I suffer from premature release too. In archery I mean 😂
I've been looking for ways to fix it and came to a similar technique. I look away while I draw instead.

What “back” quiver are you using? How many arrows does it fit? And what’s the minimum diameter shafts it can handle?
    Great video an tips!

Do you shoot with other people that shoot on other side of bow

    • @LAHBA

Sorry I did not understand? I do shoot with other people and have lessons and clinics in groups for all kind of archers but mostly with people who do horseback archery. Not so many horse archers are interested in mediterranean release, it has no roots on history for hba and it can be a bit clumsy on horse (yes yes I know Kassai and hungarians use it, very well indeed) but I shoot of course with people who shoot mediterranean release, just it's not my cup of tea
