Tour the 2024 540i xDrive in Vegas Red | 4K

The new 2024 540i xDrive arrives as the top of the line standard 5 Series with only gas power. The 540i uses a revised B58 inline 6 with more power than the previous G30 5 Series. Around 375 horsepower and over 384 torques. However, visible exhaust tips are gone...they point down behind the bumper.

The black on the bottom and rear bottom should match the paint color. Where is the stitching on top of door and no stitching on airbag :(

The cost cutting is becoming really apparent now. Plastic airbag cover, no sill plates, no comfort access on rear door handles, cheaper looking engine cover, hancook tires..

got a 520d with m-package and pretty much all options and it truly is a great car. Iconic glow is an eye-catcher. some would say the many touchpanels are annoying because you have to clean them pretty often.

They ruined the front and rear of these cars. I don't understand the extra piano black on the front rear defuser. Toyota made a BMW, new Supra, BMW has decided to make something that is starting to look like Toyota. Maybe in a couple of generations they will get this squared away.
