i remember the early Ron Howard movie Night Shift's opening credits with Quarterflash's theme song playing to great shots of NYC at nightime as the camera moves along with the ambulance as it drives to the coroner at a leisurely pace. theres a video of that opening sequence here on youtube.
Have no clue what your talking about Quarter Flash had a number of really big hits in the 80s and if they had made Rindy Ross the focal point of the band they would have been even bigger
And "Take Me To Heart" charted at #14. They are clearly not a One-Hit Wonder as I stated in the description. But I posted the video because I liked the footage.

@@jonjonas2528 Hello! My facts are based on Billboard Magazine. I am the BIGGEST QF fan on this planet lol! Quarterflash is clearly NOT a One-Hit Wonder, as I explained in the original post. I did not create this for VH1, but I did post it because I love Marv and Rindy. They are very close and personal friends of mine. Harden My Heart peaked at #3 in February 1982. Find Another Fool peaked at a respectful #16 in April 1982. Take Me To Heart peaked at #14 in August 1983. They scored several other Top 100 Hits too; Right Kind Of Love #56 - Take Another Picture #58 - Night Shift #60 and Talk To Me # 83. Harden My Heart was their only #1 Rock single in December 1981. Find Another Fool peaked at # 12 and Take Me To Heart peaked at #6 on the Rock Charts. Clearly, not a One Hit Wonder.

@@BrandonHixsonMusic I always regarded harden my heart to be from January of 1982 and the spectacular find another fool from January of 1982 and take me to heart from July of 1983 ! Billboard misses the mark most of the time historically they either chart the popularity of a song too early or after the fact for example find another fool is from January of 1982 that is when the spectacular find another fool was popular and it was played on the radio every five minutes in January of 1982 !
This is similar to referring to the band, Golden Earring, as a 'one hit wonder' as a result of "Twilight Zone". Golden Earring only recently stopped performing and actually had a longer career than the Rolling Stones. They are the greatest Dutch rock band of all-time. The music industry has basically blacklisted Quarterflash, which is why "Harden My Heart" and their other songs are almost never heard on the radio.
Most the people telling you their momories weren’t even old enough or even born when the song was a hit never mind they had other hits they don’t talk about
Gee I can name 3 songs I listened to and or saw videos of! So how can it be a one hit wonder??? VH1 and MTV networks which have all but lost all credibility!!

They had a number of hits -- not just one . You couldn't go to a party in 1982+ and not have the album ; ( this was before CDs were out )
One hit wonder?!
The Quarterflash and Take Another Picture albums were hits in the 80s
with many great songs!
I agree, they had a bunch of great hits so they don’t fit for one hit wonders.
Quarterflash wasn’t a one hit wonder. This show might be, but this band had MORE HITS than this BS! They had a lasting impact on their generation!
Find another fool is spectacular find another fool to love you Carol !

They were not one hit wonders. Immensely talented!
Find another fool
Exactly, they are far from being a one hit wonder. VH1 is crazy.

Golden Earring isn't a one-hit-wonder. Radar Love is also a song from the 70s that was a big hit.
ahhhyeeeah!
Not a one hit wonder they had more like take me to heart 😡 this is offensive

What’s up with the one hit wonder hate? A one hit wonder is more than 99% of you will ever have… including me 👍
Pardon my farts ha ha. Never heard or smelt that one. Long live the Ross's.

This is a good song but she's not a patch on Pat Benetar!
@mark d 🤣 yeah right
They wouldn't have had a 2nd and 3rd 'hit' had it not been for the 1st. They capitalized on the band's notoriety at that point.
