And they kept in water logging area. After heavy flood was happened in tuticorin 18th dec 2023 my entire car was spoiled by them in flood. Dont buy any products in tuty tata derik dealer. Worst customer service support. And still now they are not allowing me to see my vehicle. And service center manager saran babu, & ganesa moorthy, is behaving in a very rude way. I entered into service center and found my vehicle in fully sinking condition. Even if i kept it in home, i can save it in a proper way. i lost 15 lakhs, i asked more than 3 days about my vehicles, and got the reply as vehicle is in safe condition. Still they refused to see my vechile atleast. More than 10 new vehilces spoiled by this derik tata service center thoothukudi. I have all recorded voice calls. 5 star, indian company , patriotism nu so many are facing this issue. Now we know why maruti and hyundai are selling like hot cakes. Reliability is king. What is the use of 5 star when you get break failure or engine issue while cruising at 120. Even mahindra has these issues. Indian companies should work on quality control and customer service.

I love my Ford, driven 50k and it has never let me down anytime. It's like a tank, good road grip and total control. Actually I was planning to buy Nexon facelift but have to think again. I also have tata Nano using it for 9yrs with out any issues. I have to agree that the after sales service and customer care support have to be improved a lot.

Yes, you are right, I don't know why government is not limiting the speed to 100km for all vehicles when there are no highways where the speed limit is above 100. Only taxies have 80km limits.
Feel sorry for your experience. But most of this circuit issue is due after market accessories like infotainment system, ambience lights, exterior lighting. So check that as well. Every new accessory should have seperate fuse and power should be directly from battery also proper voltage amplifier should be used. So I suggest you to take a look into them as well. If you want go for after market parts go with good brand and good dealer.

As guys u can see TATA is poor in post sales service,but the picture he showed in video has cop light/white light installed and wiring must have been disturbed ..he probably have done installation with a good dealer but we cant be sure of it..but now a days this aftermarket par quality products cause these problems..everyone knows..(Proper wiring and fixing should avoid this)but tata service guys dont know(ps:maybe they would gave rectified but we dont know about that)…thats were their service is lacking and no proper feedback is given in service…just my thought..i feel bad for u bro..New car staying in service centre is pain..pls share to many of them..

I've TATA Nexon XZA+ (2021) Diesel vehicle. Idhuvaraikkum problem nu face pannadhu DPF issue dhaan. 2 years la andha ore oru issue dhaan. Service worst nu ellarum sollreenga, but there are some service centres who are doing very good job. Sometimes naama use panra after market products um indha maadhiri issue ku kaaranama irukalam. Maximum TATA Genuine products prefer panradhu nalladhu. Innonu kandippa sollanum, as an electrical engineer, machines ah namba mudiyadhu dhaan.. adhuvum andha sensors irukudhe.. adha laam eppovume namba mudiyadhu. Problems will arise, but adha rectify panni tharuvadhu TATA motors kaila dhaan irukudhu. People um 5 star safety irukudhu nu chumma ishtathuku poranga.. all the man made things has its own limitations.. adha marandhudranga.

I obsessed with Nexon for its 5* safty promotions in the social media. I test drive Nexon and Kia Sonet on the same day and decided to buy Sonet diesel automatic car. I drove 40k km without even a single service issue so far. The Kia service is really Excellent and inexpensive. Now after two years I feel extreemly happy with my kia.

I totally understand bro, I was facing a similar situation, within 3 months my safari diesel leak had happened due to substantial materials. Their roadside assistance was horrible. I was forced to be on street with my family for more than 4hrs and finally, I came back home on my own. This sudden breakdown also a few times I was expecting at peak traffic every time they do some interim fix, as they dont have any clue, this is a big headache and mistakes choosing this brand. Above all, their service is a class leading experience in a negative way.

I have a Nexon too. The car is OEM I have not made any alterations or did not even add a small bulb. My car stopped in the middle around 3k kms on odo on a highway. Thank god it started again in a few mins. But still Iam afraid that this issue might happen again on long trips.
That's sad to hear this.. Tata motors will look into this electrical problem even tata Arya failed because of these sensor issues, and moreover, senior technicians aren't attending. That's the main reason.
I recommend removing extra aftermarket accessories like the red and blue lights. This is an overload of your battery, which drains it. Don't expect a lot from Tata Motors; they give you the bare minimum to keep the costs low. remove the lights, which are a violation of the vehicle law in India.
I bought nexon 2 yrs ago...I had similar kind of issue within a month and suddenly stopped in mid of the road.... Service was better...they towed and repalced some parts... 2nd time...after a month...the car boot door was not getting closed.... had a sensor issue...they replaced some parts... Then i asked them to do the full scan of the car and identify all issues and fix it in one go... They identified the car door sensor was not updated and they Replaced it before.. After that it ran for 20k kms and still now no issue... Thought... only i got the defect pcs... Service was ok in my case...but i went through lot of pblm in middle of the road... Good atleast...u brought it out... I would suggest u to do full scan of the car...
Tata car mostly reliable car. Seems like ECU issue. Now most of the car engines handled by this ECU chips. If any malfunctioning is happening in the chip, first check engine ignition will turn on and immediately your engine will turn of, and steering may lock. Try to ask your mechanic, chip on ECU aspect. You issue will resolve in no time.
When I took delivery in. 20 min my car struck in main road chennai at night 8.30. Then again and again 4 times in 5 months. Same hospital situation I faced brother but that’s for my wife hospitalised. Now it’s 7th month car meet with an accident and under process in Trichy @kaveri Tata but they are good in service I guess.

Same issue for me too, bought Tata Altroz in may 2023, got multiple issues and i have visited service centre at least 20 times in this 3/4 months.. they are selling metal boxs in the name of safety…. Pathetic customer care and service centre…PLEASE DO NO BUY TATA CARS.
Am also from Dindigul, Tata has an advantage of Indian product & 5 ⭐️ safety and they are taking advantage of the same but in real life its not the fact , Tata has a very bad post sales support & customer service also quality of the product is not on par compared to is competitors. Becaz my family owns 5 cars, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna, Kia carens, Tata Zest, Renault Kwid. The build quality is best in Vento, thn Carens, thn verna , thn Kwid , the last one is Zest . Because recently i was travelling in highway at a speed of 70kmph a stray dog got it & the entire front bumper along the radiator got broken, the RSA & customer support was not responding👎🏻, so we drove it ourselves with the radiator oil leaking all the way to Tata service thankfully it was nearby, or else it would be a nightmare. Post this incident, i have decided not to buy tata cars anytime in future . Even we faced similar incidents with our others cars , Hyundai & Kia RSA & customer support was top notch👏

I too have nexon road assistance is total waste of time - they say it is not valid talk with insurance team i totally agree - but your problem is unique - i think try to get back to your original RELAY if u changed it for head light or horn - original relay is accepted by ecu it doesnt say any errors - just try amd let me know - i really wish your problem should be solved soon - i also bought tata for same reasons as you said - they should concentrate on service ir soon they will be out of market

After a service, people from service center called for feedback and when i gave 9/10 they shattered and called back to back to know what happened and is there any issues with my experience. Actually service was top notch and i gave them my genuine feedback. Thats how good hyundai service is. Got into a minor accident and right side doors and quarter panel got severely damaged. one call and they picked it up and restored entire damage on insurance in a week. completely satisfied with hyundai's service and customer handling....

Sir, First of all, It is your mistake to buy indian product. Engine is one of the components in the car. There are lot more components to function properly. Don't trust Indian manufacturers because every product made in India is profit centered not quality. I love India for culture not for technology. Indian companies love money more than quality. Still Indian products are 'L' board. You go for Honda, Hundai or Toyota.
Hi, First of all i would like to say 1. There are several good engines tata had (Varicor engine - Hexa), (sumo engine) and they are also leading in Heavy vehicles market. ( Tata is good on Diesel engines) 2. I accept tata has to improve on their petrol engines (as they were 3 cylinders their nature is obvious to have vibration and sound) . They have to improve significantly on their customer service and people handling. 3. Now the market has been pushed to match BS 6.2 norms which regulates the emission of cars. Even suzuki has 3 cylinder engines which are less powerful then TATA's but they were puling the less weight kurb without an issue. The point is the chassis of TATAs were built robust so it needs more robust engine. 4. I would like to ask whether do you have any statistics of which brand you refer meant for social service by selling cars in indian market. Its so rubbish to talk Honda, Toyota and Hyundai are not profit centered companies (you forgot to add suzuki as well). 5.There are several cars in Honda, Toyoto and Hyundai were called for Brake issues. Fire issues and several other issues. If a company sells cars in india and manufactures parts in india yet the quality of cars they sell in india is less while comparing the cars they sell in International market (especially those cars were also manufactured in india and been export is money minded profit centered organisations) atleast upto me.

Hi bro! I also faced many issues. I am using Tata harrier i faced lot of issue in my vehicle in initial stages I use to give complaints they will rectify temporarily and give the vehicle back. Now also I have complaints, but now I am not raising any complaint because there won’t be any response from the service person side. I am also feel the same Indian vehicle and Safty really fed up and waste service to core. Now my strong recommendation is not to buy Tata vehicles until they need benchmark their service from Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. Until that don’t buy Tata.

Only city and village driving very less on highways go for Maruthi or Huyndai. Atleast avoid night driving. 2. Only highways and night driving go for European brands. Bro!! This must be ua bad experience. But there's an incident which happened in karnataka where the vehicle fell from the service ramp and the dealer asked the owner to claim insurance. This is the position of TATA dealership. Also the PDI is hopeless, only water wash is done. As a customer it's ua duty to check the vehicle thoroughly before taking delivery. After service is a very big question!!. A sad ending of choosing a TATA segment vehicle. Definitely none will give u in writing. It's better to sell it to get out of further problems ua going to face.

TATA service is very bad; they do not have skilled mechanics in their service centres. I would suggest everyone please don't go to service centres for any issues; they will create new issues in your car instead of fixing the issue. This is my personal experience of owning a 6-year-old Tata Nexon. For insurance claims and general services, you may use their services. For the rest, I strongly recommend local mechanics; they are far better than them.

Looking by the last lights on the front bumper, i think the culprit is after market accessories incompatibility. Many don't understand that engine bay these days have complex driver assist systems and nexon is the first to have many such. Even creta did not have these many features for quite some years. No one knows what exactly outside accessories affect the performance. My after attachment fog lamp strained my nexon badly. Tata service technician themselves had tough time initially. I understand it is difficult as a customer when you have spent your hard earned money. I pray that your problem gets rectified. One thing i understood is never add any after market products especially with Tata. Most after market technicians are all self taught. Should you trust them with 16L product? As far as Tata service, you should be on their back to get your work done. Not much different from other brands these days.
Please understand that Tata's outer body only is 5 star (that too if you dont exceed 70km/ph, as above this speed and meeting with a accident, a 5 star will not be able to save you in this impact). With regard to the engine it is very poor, as the engine noise is very irritating inside the cabin in all Tata cars. Further many of my friends have commented about the poor after sales service of Tata. Very sorry to say this. If the senior level management of Tata personally interfere to this perennial issues and set right, then I can challenge, that Tata will be Maruti's main and tough competitor.
Sir, l own Renault duster and my experience is not very different. So, it's not about Indian brand vs foreign brand and the myth that foreign brands are superior in all aspects. I can see after market fittings in your car images and l can tell you the after market for new generation cars are not advisable at all as the new generation cars have loads of electronics and after market accessories tampers this for sure. Sorry for your experience

5 star, indian company , patriotism nu so many are facing this issue. Now we know why maruti and hyundai are selling like hot cakes. Reliability is king. What is the use of 5 star when you get break failure or engine issue while cruising at 120. Even mahindra has these issues. Indian companies should work on quality control and customer service.

According to my Experience COIMBATORE SRT TATA MOTORS and LAKSHMI MOTORS ECR service station doing good and proper service till date maximum service cost which I paid is 7000 rupess

I love my Ford, driven 50k and it has never let me down anytime. It's like a tank, good road grip and total control. Actually I was planning to buy Nexon facelift but have to think again. But most of this circuit issue is due after market accessories like infotainment system, ambience lights, exterior lighting. So check that as well. Every new accessory should have seperate fuse and power should be directly from battery also proper voltage amplifier should be used.
So I suggest you to take a look into them as well.
If you want go for after market parts go with good brand and good dealer.

As guys u can see TATA is poor in post sales service,but the picture he showed in video has cop light/white light installed and wiring must have been disturbed ..he probably have done installation with a good dealer but we cant be sure of it..but now a days this aftermarket par quality products cause these problems..everyone knows..(Proper wiring and fixing should avoid this)but tata service guys dont know(ps:maybe they would gave rectified but we dont know about that)…thats were their service is lacking and no proper feedback is given in service…just my thought..i feel bad for u bro..New car staying in service centre is pain..pls share to many of them..

Sometimes naama use panra after market products um indha maadhiri issue ku kaaranama irukalam. Maximum TATA Genuine products prefer panradhu nalladhu.
Innonu kandippa sollanum, as an electrical engineer, machines ah namba mudiyadhu dhaan.. adhuvum andha sensors irukudhe.. adha laam eppovume namba mudiyadhu. I obsessed with Nexon for its 5* safty promotions in the social media. I test drive Nexon and Kia Sonet on the same day and decided to buy Sonet diesel automatic car. I drove 40k km without even a single service issue so far. The Kia service is really Excellent and inexpensive. Now after two years I feel extreemly happy with my kia.

I totally understand bro, I was facing a similar situation, within 3 months my safari diesel leak had happened due to substantial materials. Their roadside assistance was horrible. I was forced to be on street with my family for more than 4hrs and finally, I came back home on my own. This sudden breakdown also a few times I was expecting at peak traffic every time they do some interim fix, as they dont have any clue, this is a big headache and mistakes choosing this brand. Above all, their service is a class leading experience in a negative way.

I have a Nexon too. The car is OEM I have not made any alterations or did not even add a small bulb. My car stopped in the middle around 3k kms on odo on a highway. Thank god it started again in a few mins. But still Iam afraid that this issue might happen again on long trips.
That's sad to hear this.. Tata motors will look into this electrical problem even tata Arya failed because of these sensor issues, and moreover, senior technicians aren't attending. That's the main reason.
I recommend removing extra aftermarket accessories like the red and blue lights. This is an overload of your battery, which drains it. Don't expect a lot from Tata Motors; they give you the bare minimum to keep the costs low. remove the lights, which are a violation of the vehicle law in India.

Service was better...they towed and repalced some parts...
2nd time...after a month...the car boot door was not getting closed.... had a sensor issue...they replaced some parts...
Then i asked them to do the full scan of the car and identify all issues and fix it in one go...
They identified the car door sensor was not updated and they
Replaced it before..
After that it ran for 20k kms and still now no issue...
Thought... only i got the defect pcs...
Service was ok in my case...but i went through lot of pblm in middle of the road...

Tata car mostly reliable car. Seems like ECU issue. Now most of the car engines handled by this ECU chips. If any malfunctioning is happening in the chip, first check engine ignition will turn on and immediately your engine will turn of, and steering may lock.
Try to ask your mechanic, chip on ECU aspect. You issue will resolve in no time.
Buy Toyota don’t put your emotions on made in India products then you will suffer like this.
When I took delivery in. 20 min my car struck in main road chennai at night 8.30. Then again and again 4 times in 5 months. Same hospital situation I faced brother but that’s for my wife hospitalised. Now it’s 7th month car meet with an accident and under process in Trichy @kaveri Tata but they are good in service I guess.

Becaz my family owns 5 cars, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna, Kia carens, Tata Zest, Renault Kwid. The build quality is best in Vento, thn Carens, thn verna , thn Kwid , the last one is Zest . Because recently i was travelling in highway at a speed of 70kmph a stray dog got it & the entire front bumper along the radiator got broken, the RSA & customer support was not responding👎🏻, so we drove it ourselves with the radiator oil leaking all the way to Tata service thankfully it was nearby, or else it would be a nightmare. Post this incident, i have decided not to buy tata cars anytime in future . Even we faced similar incidents with our others cars , Hyundai & Kia RSA & customer support was top notch👏

I too have nexon road assistance is total waste of time - they say it is not valid talk with insurance team i totally agree - but your problem is unique - i think try to get back to your original RELAY if u changed it for head light or horn - original relay is accepted by ecu it doesnt say any errors - just try amd let me know - i really wish your problem should be solved soon - i also bought tata for same reasons as you said - they should concentrate on service ir soon they will be out of market

Actually service was top notch and i gave them my genuine feedback. Thats how good hyundai service is. Got into a minor accident and right side doors and quarter panel got severely damaged. one call and they picked it up and restored entire damage on insurance in a week. completely satisfied with hyundai's service and customer handling....

Sir, First of all, It is your mistake to buy indian product. Engine is one of the components in the car. There are lot more components to function properly. Don't trust Indian manufacturers because every product made in India is profit centered not quality. I love India for culture not for technology. Indian companies love money more than quality. Still Indian products are 'L' board. You go for Honda, Hundai or Toyota.
Hi, First of all i would like to say
1. There are several good engines tata had (Varicor engine - Hexa), (sumo engine) and they are also leading in Heavy vehicles market. ( Tata is good on Diesel engines)
2. I accept tata has to improve on their petrol engines (as they were 3 cylinders their nature is obvious to have vibration and sound) . They have to improve significantly on their customer service and people handling.
3. Now the market has been pushed to match BS 6.2 norms which regulates the emission of cars. Even suzuki has 3 cylinder engines which are less powerful then TATA's but they were puling the less weight kurb without an issue. The point is the chassis of TATAs were built robust so it needs more robust engine.
4. I would like to ask whether do you have any statistics of which brand you refer meant for social service by selling cars in indian market. Its so rubbish to talk Honda, Toyota and Hyundai are not profit centered companies (you forgot to add suzuki as well).
5.There are several cars in Honda, Toyoto and Hyundai were called for Brake issues. Fire issues and several other issues.
If a company sells cars in india and manufactures parts in india yet the quality of cars they sell in india is less while comparing the cars they sell in International market (especially those cars were also manufactured in india and been export is money minded profit centered organisations) atleast upto me.

Bro I’m 4 years of Tiago user I didn’t face any issues, also our family members have Tata punch and safari too we all didn’t have any issues with Tata cars. I think after market wiring matters. Please avoid after market wiring these lead circuit problems because not everyone is good in wiring. We using the cars without alterations in wiring.Feel sad for you bro. Thank you take care.

Hi bro! I also faced many issues. I am using Tata harrier i faced lot of issue in my vehicle in initial stages I use to give complaints they will rectify temporarily and give the vehicle back. Now also I have complaints, but now I am not raising any complaint because there won’t be any response from the service person side. I am also feel the same Indian vehicle and Safty really fed up and waste service to core. Now my strong recommendation is not to buy Tata vehicles until they need benchmark their service from Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. Until that don’t buy Tata.

Bro every vechicle is a machine,even kia sonet clutch plate worn out in 23k in the middle of nh at 100kmph,vehicle shut off,SC denied warranty initially and billed 32k ,it can happen with any vehicle,always remember electricals done at aftermarket shops will give unknown problems.never mess with electrical circuits the rest u can as per ur wish,if tata wanted they could have denied even free service but they didn’t.happy and proud owner of nexon,done 55k in less than 3yrs.

People who are buying maruthi and Hyundai or not fools. Their sales is high and quality standard on engines are very high and reliable. The more you produce the more process and Quality control can be implemented in automation.

Bro!! This must be ua bad experience. But there's an incident which happened in karnataka where the vehicle fell from the service ramp and the dealer asked the owner to claim insurance. This is the position of TATA dealership. Also the PDI is hopeless, only water wash is done. As a customer it's ua duty to check the vehicle thoroughly before taking delivery. After service is a very big question!!. A sad ending of choosing a TATA segment vehicle. Definitely none will give u in writing. It's better to sell it to get out of further problems ua going to face.

TATA service is very bad; they do not have skilled mechanics in their service centres. I would suggest everyone please don't go to service centres for any issues; they will create new issues in your car instead of fixing the issue. This is my personal experience of owning a 6-year-old Tata Nexon.
For insurance claims and general services, you may use their services. For the rest, I strongly recommend local mechanics; they are far better than them.

Looking by the last lights on the front bumper, i think the culprit is after market accessories incompatibility.
Many don't understand that engine bay these days have complex driver assist systems and nexon is the first to have many such. Even creta did not have these many features for quite some years. No one knows what exactly outside accessories affect the performance.
My after attachment fog lamp strained my nexon badly. Tata service technician themselves had tough time initially.
I understand it is difficult as a customer when you have spent your hard earned money. I pray that your problem gets rectified.
One thing i understood is never add any after market products especially with Tata.
Most after market technicians are all self taught. Should you trust them with 16L product?
As far as Tata service, you should be on their back to get your work done. Not much different from other brands these days.

Please understand that Tata's outer body only is 5 star (that too if you dont exceed 70km/ph, as above this speed and meeting with a accident, a 5 star will not be able to save you in this impact). With regard to the engine it is very poor, as the engine noise is very irritating inside the cabin in all Tata cars. Further many of my friends have commented about the poor after sales service of Tata. Very sorry to say this. If the senior level management of Tata personally interfere to this perennial issues and set right, then I can challenge, that Tata will be Maruti's main and tough competitor.

Sir, l own Renault duster and my experience is not very different. So, it's not about Indian brand vs foreign brand and the myth that foreign brands are superior in all aspects. I can see after market fittings in your car images and l can tell you the after market for new generation cars are not advisable at all as the new generation cars have loads of electronics and after market accessories tampers this for sure. Sorry for your experience
