Bro i’m using nexon petrol manual since oct 2020 almost 45k km done. Not even a single problem in my car and service station and fully satisfied with safety measures. Comparatively nexon is less maintenance cost than other competitors like xuv 300, S cross, Sonet ,venue.

I bought Nexon through Chima in Madurai.
Fully satisfied with the service.
Of course the car had a major software problem and Chima corrected. It took a week and I was provided with a spare car in that period.
The reasons I bought Nexon are:;
Safety
Value for money.
Desi car
Tata , a philanthropic company
Service ( heard about before buying)
Mileage may be less , but for mileage there are other cars available in the market.
Maruti is not always zero star as you say. Brezza is 4 star. Nexa is having good build quality.
Maruti is like petrol, tata is like diesel... so which is value fir money ? Which is powerful? Always tata...
Compare Ms diesal engine and tata engine, and wait for sometime tata also will stop the diesel engine, government is stopping the diesel engines @@ItsMyLifeAsh

I have completed 6 years 70k .. using diesel honestly telling this is the best car in thie segment..Feel satisfied lot . hesitate to replace this car until tata gives next best..only concern is service not feeling satisfied.

I have tata nexon xms petrol manual variant.this is third car. My car mileage in city 9to 10 in Bangalore in highways 24 to 26. I don’t have any issues in service. I done 3 service in Bangalore Prerana motors in Yelanha. My car having coolant oil leaking problem after purchase 5month .they guide me and done a best service . I’m fully satisfied having own Tata nexon

I have zero issues so far. If you want better mileage go for manual variant because on avg I'm getting 11KMPL for city use & on highways upto 16KMPL. Mine is petrol variant XZA+. 200% I can recommend this product, regarding service you have to check in region. I'm doing service in Coimbatore Tafe.

I own first gen Nexon. Completed 75000kms in 5 years. Its a tank and not beast. So dont try 0-100 performance. Its an excellent family car with good ride quality, drive comfort. It is best in diesel. I get 15-17 in city and highway 23-25. Its a heavy car best performance is around 40km and 80km on high speed. The place I am in has best offroads in the city and Nexon gives best ride with its torque in slow ride and good suspension. In regular service it cost 5500 to 6500. Spares are also moderate priced during some damage repair. Except the thick A pillar I have nothing to complain. But I some time feel having less features in my XM model but thats no show stopper. The new 2023 facelift gets more feature. But the old one is best value for money.

Sonet and venue Indian made um 3star dhaan and now 4 air bags are standard, it depends upon the platform, and budget

I'm using 7D matte in my altroz. Easy to clean and maintain. If you want full coverage go for custom full floor matte, if you want looks and easy maintenance go for 7D

Only a few cars india they can run upto 9 to 10 lakh kilometres like toyoto innova(upto 2014 model only) etios , etios liva, skoda Octavia ( 2004-2010) models only these car engine are built quality is high particularly diesal engine
Hi Sir, you are right our Innova has run around 1.9L km and still moves like a gem. What do you think about Nexon or Venue Diesel Engines ? even Hyundai 1.5 U2 CRDi VGT engines are reliable right ? I'm not sure about Nexon Revetorq engine.

Yes Service by Tata pps is very good.using them for past 2 years.we had issue at battery but they replaced. We are also happy Nexon owner. Pros Looks, build quality, awesome AC, Harman speaker , Only con is its 3 Cylinder engine and fuel efficiency

Tata is a bits and pieces brand just surviving in the name of safety... Fit and finish illama summa self compromise panni our car vaangradhu muttal thanam. 13-15 Lakhs is not a small budget to adjust like in Tiago or Punch...
I also had same thought, But fit and finish is helpful when you have an accident, the gap between the parts helps the neighbour part to not get affected, easily you can change the affected part.

Automatic transmission is good for city setup or for long drive but try to get CVT or DCT transmissions than AMT. AMT is the cheapest option (gear shift will not be smooth like CVT or DCT). Baleno, Venue, XUV are better options in automatic than Nexon.

Maintenance will definitely high if you choose DCT or other advanced automatic cars. Our maintenance cost is same as manual version.

@@ShankarMurugesan there is no separate maintenance for automatic cars in ur regular service. Maintenance becomes high when it creates a problem. I own torque converter for the past 3 years. No separate service protocols and no extra charges for maintenance for an automatic transmission

Body strong but technically weak
Quality control issue and inconsistency in quality is the main issue in TATA. It has improved compared to earlier models but still it is the issue.
Service is the biggest issue, they never closed any highlighted/observed issued.
As per me considering resale value after 5 years. Never to buy a TATA vehicle model more than 10 lakhs. Not worth. Small issues will never get solved ..
I have driven my Nexon diesel for almost 7 years and 1.47 lakh kms.still it's good.

Honda City is the best automatic in this price segment. Its CVT and fuel efficiency. Honda engine is the best.
Onroad CVT is 16 lacs bro. + Its a different segment - sedan. Honda, Toyota obviously king of engines. No doubt in that.

I am facing some jerk after gear shift (upto 2nd gear)..then its fine (3-6).. initially Service center they told there is some issue with clutch plate and changed it...even then I am facing the issue..any idea how to resolve it.have u heard like if anyone faced this issue?..

For those cases, waterless wash is not recommended. You will scratch the paint. Best is to use pressure washing for harder mud stains.
