They actually got rid of that bestseller filter since I made this video but you CAN still access it. Sort by the Star Seller, then go into the URL at the top and find the word "star" and replace it with the word "best". It will look something like _star_seller and you will change it to _best_seller, and it will work just the same way I showed in this video... at least for now! Hi Jennifer! There’s actually a trick for this haha. After you type in your search, choose the star seller filter. Then click on the website at the top, and replace “star” with “best” I hope that’s helpful!! Thanks for watching! ❤️

No there had been an update on Etsy since I made that video and now the bestseller button is hidden! It might get brought back someday but it’s gone for now

I use Etsy for my SEO, looking at the top sellers and what they are using for their SEO is the best bet you have for also finding success because they already have proof that people are searching those keywords and then purchasing. I mainly use Sales Samurai and Everbee for finding new niches to design for
i would like to start a digital products store on Etsy but i visited Etsy and i saw that you can ''save image'' all the images on Etsy....how i secure my digital art from this?
You will want to watermark your images that you post for sale on Etsy by adding a logo or something overtop of the image, then when they download the image, that will no longer be there!
Yes they took away this feature awhile ago, to access it, go to filters and filter by "star Seller" then go to the URL at the top and delete the word star and replace it with the word best , then it will still let you access seeing only the bestsellers!

Love your videos! Question, I’m noticing that some T shirts that trend with a lot of shirts are also at a very low price point. Is there something I’m missing to where I can sell my T shirts at a cheaper rate and still make profit? I’m finding some shirts for around $10 a shirt when that’s what it costs to actually produce the T shirt via the print on demand provider.

Just a tip from someone who started with holidays, it wasn't the best, once that holiday was over those listings are over for the most part and you have a shop full of listings no one is searching for anymore! Then it's like you have to start all over with designs that can be sold year round. But, that's just my two cents!
Yes you can but you can only keep them up as long as you keep your subscription with creative fabrica. It's also still your responsibility to check for copyrights and trademarks infringements so I tend to not use the fully premade ones myself since technically people can steal designs and post them for sale on creative fabrica. I got one copyright infringement from a premade design on their site once. I use them for fonts and for graphics and parts of designs to make my own unique versions. Even if you didn't have to worry about copyright or trademarks, it's still best to mainly create your own designs because everyone will be using those same ones and it will be difficult to stand out in the search results.

Yes I’m having the same issue! For some reason I can’t find the “best seller” filter if in an incognito window. I wondered if it’s the same thing but not all of them have the “best seller” tag on them

Hi! That’s so exciting!Now that it’s sold a few times you can increase the price by a couple dollars, then after a few more sales increase again. I got an email saying I am permanently suspended. It does say I can appeal, but doesn't give me any specifics on why. Is that what you meant by being suspended? Any help would be great! That happened to me bcy email didn't match up ..and at that time I didn't have any listings and I was only 3 days in. But somehow about a year later I decided to give it another shot and my site was up and running again..I had no idea I guess for a year they unsuspended me. So here I am a month in and no sales yet 😑

If you have found multiple niches would you recommend starting multiple shops? Is it bad to have 3 types of products (ex, shirts, digital products, tumbler cups) in multiple niches all in one shop? Should I have a shop for each niche?

Thank You Cassiy, I am on day 5 of just opening my shop. Still not sure what my niche is going to be. In the meantime, I have made 5 Valentine’s Day shirts, but no movement yet. They are not very good designs, but gotta start somewhere. My category of personal interests is wolves, veganism and surfing, but none of those topics are a hot niche. Any advice where to step out of those familiar topics? Thank you
I’d recommend having a “general store” and selling lots of different niches within one store! Instead of picking one topic, your niche can be that you sell shirts for example. On Etsy this is a great choice because then you can just leverage all the millions of people that come organically to the platform already! I’d recommend seeing what niches are already popular on Etsy by looking for what has bestsellers and +20 in the cart and making those niches. This way you aren’t trying to create demand, you are just trying to channel it! Best of luck!

Hi, I have a question: can I put graphics that have full POD and Commercial rights from Creative Fabrica on etsy?
Yes you can but you can only keep them up as long as you keep your subscription with creative fabrica. It's also still your responsibility to check for copyrights and trademarks infringements so I tend to not use the fully premade ones myself since technically people can steal designs and post them for sale on creative fabrica. I got one copyright infringement from a premade design on their site once. I use them for fonts and for graphics and parts of designs to make my own unique versions.
Even if you didn't have to worry about copyright or trademarks, it's still best to mainly create your own designs because everyone will be using those same ones and it will be difficult to stand out in the search results.

Hi Cassiy, I received a 4 star review however reviewer said it is a "cheaper quality shirt" It's a Bella and Canvas 3001 from Monster Digital . How do would you respond to something like this? I hate seeing that word in a review.
Hi Cassiy, Etsy has taken away the "best seller" filter and replaced it with "star seller". Im assuming this isnt an issue? Thanks for all your help :)

Yes I’m having the same issue! For some reason I can’t find the “best seller” filter if in an incognito window. I wondered if it’s the same thing but not all of them have the “best seller” tag on them

Cassiy! My group shirt is starting to sell! Im so excited people buy in bulk! In fact it becomes a bestseller!!🎉😭 But I wanna ask, how much do you price the shirt? I put $22.50 and run sales 20%, so it's like $18.... And do you use the free shipping for $35+ thing? Cause I use that too :') but the profit margin become really small because of bulk order :"" idk how to price it...
Hi! That’s so exciting!Now that it’s sold a few times you can increase the price by a couple dollars, then after a few more sales increase again.
I don’t do the free shipping over 35, but I’ve heard it works for some people! I always do free shipping, but I increase the price of the shirt to cover the cost.

Thank you Cassiy! Very helpful! I'm just starting out and am following you step by step in your mini-course. You did mention that Etsy could suspend your account at first. I got an email saying I am permanently suspended. It does say I can appeal, but doesn't give me any specifics on why. Is that what you meant by being suspended? Any help would be great! Thank you :)

That happened to me bcy email didn't match up ..and at that time I didn't have any listings and I was only 3 days in. But somehow about a year later I decided to give it another shot and my site was up and running again..I had no idea I guess for a year they unsuspended me. So here I am a month in and no sales yet 😑

If you have found multiple niches would you recommend starting multiple shops? Is it bad to have 3 types of products (ex, shirts, digital products, tumbler cups) in multiple niches all in one shop? Should I have a shop for each niche?
In another video of Cassiy's, she recommends just starting off with one type of thing... like all apparel, all mugs, etc.. hope that helps.

Thank You Cassiy, I am on day 5 of just opening my shop. Still not sure what my niche is going to be. In the meantime, I have made 5 Valentine’s Day shirts, but no movement yet. They are not very good designs, but gotta start somewhere. My category of personal interests is wolves, veganism and surfing, but none of those topics are a hot niche. Any advice where to step out of those familiar topics? Thank you
I’d recommend having a “general store” and selling lots of different niches within one store! Instead of picking one topic, your niche can be that you sell shirts for example. On Etsy this is a great choice because then you can just leverage all the millions of people that come organically to the platform already! I’d recommend seeing what niches are already popular on Etsy by looking for what has bestsellers and +20 in the cart and making those niches. This way you aren’t trying to create demand, you are just trying to channel it! Best of luck!
