Hey Molt! Had a dream last night that i met you on like a jomez practice round😂😂 talked about how i remember you from 9 years ago with the old royale. Kinda funny, hope youre doing amazing! Love the content!
Hey Molt, thanks for this video you brought out some great points. I would love for you to talk about the mental part of putting because I am a great putter in the backyard, but when I get in a competitive situation, I throw my putts straight into the cage 85% of the time.
Haha I totally get that. And sometimes in rounds I overthink thinks too much. Like my first round today I missed so many because of my headspace. Best advice would be to take those deep breaths, slow down your thoughts and think positive. For example, if you have a “bad throw” don’t go up to the disk thinking, aww man, instead think “nice I have a line” that helps me a lot
Golf is a game of mistakes, embrace that truth. Playing with fewer expectations allows your mind to be present, instead of (even if you don't realize it) concerned with how well you're doing overall in the round. If golf is a game of mistakes and you learn to appreciate that, you can free up a lot of the mental errors and your game will start to flow. There will always be good days and bad days still, and that's okay, it's a part of life. Good luck
I had a round yesterday and gave away at least 4 (if not 5) strokes with a top of the basket miss. I'll blame it on my ADD but how obvious do I have to be to myself before I realise.. I almost never miss high, usually just over the basket left/right or low... lets start looking at the TOP instead of the middle (I'm still playing with putting (2 years in) so surely I can pay attention for once to a thousand similar results and make a simple change.)
Another Tip: Disc selection is important especially when it comes to a comfortable feel. Disc Height was important to me. Most putters are around 2.1 centimeters in height. I prefer to put with a disc height of 1.7 centimeters. I have smaller than average male hands. There are also putters that are higher than 2.1 centimeters that may be more comfortable for larger than average hands.
If you putt nose up in the headwind, the disc will lift and fly over the chains, if you putt nose down the wind will push the disc straight down - flat is best in the wind
If it’s a head wind it’ll definitely lift the disc, so depending on how strong it is, you either aim a little lower or just put it flatter. It’s always so touchy
Loving the disk golf content fairly new to disk golf and learning a lot watching the videos!
Awesome!

Yooooo you play disc golf?!?!?!?!? Can't wait to see you on jomez!!
Whats up Molt, so i was wondering if putting in a headwind, should you still put with nose up or nose down?
If you putt nose up in the headwind, the disc will lift and fly over the chains, if you putt nose down the wind will push the disc straight down - flat is best in the wind
If it’s a head wind it’ll definitely lift the disc, so depending on how strong it is, you either aim a little lower or just put it flatter. It’s always so touchy
Also, you should post some vlogs or just edits of you playing rounds, I'd love to see you play
i think the breathing will help keep you loose and relaxed, think Yoga???
