It is better to be alone than being in the company of a hell lot of people and feel alone. Be yourself, love yourself and celebrate your own self... Is the best way to live life
At the age of 28, I realized that being alone is better than being surrounded by the fake people in my life. I remained alone for 6 yrs, made my career, buy my own flat, wandered & explored new places with solo trips. It was a great experience. Finally, I got married with the person who actually loves me and prioritize me.
I realized this sometime after the movie ended, that there was only Shefali, and noone else in the film. Brilliant acting! Resonates with most of the Indian bahus' feelings🙌

Mehn add that being alone during lockdown. it was interesting and kinda cute. I give Shefali an A for effort and I hope she continues to tell stories, she's such an amazing actor
When you get robbed of your peace you can relate this .... In all the chaos you lost your self and get mixed with it by getting part of it.... and then you try to do what world around your telling you ...by ignoring what your is inner self is demanding.. that's peace, freedom .... from past few years i have been through a lot ... alone, no one asked how I am instead of that I asked and pleased everyone ..... so that they can ask me how I am ..but pleasing fake people and taking care of them didn't work but from past few months i disconnected from everyone... not like completely but.. if I don't want to do anything i fearlessly say no. I have anxiety issues I got panic attack sometimes... and I have learned one thing that living alone doesn't mean you have to be arrogant... you have to be in peace with yourself....
The power of finally realizing that she kept giving into a relationship and a family without getting equal investment back and being treated like an option and sacrificing to now realising that Self love, self worth are the things that matter the most and keeping ourselves happy is the beginning of a lifelong and true relationship is the true message everyone needs to walk away with 👯💁
It happens some day we sudden realise that we were wasting ourself to keeping others happy , जिसको खुश रहना होता है वो खुद रह लेता है Kudos to Shaifali 🙏🏻 Love you darling 💞
It is sad how she has to be fake in order to adjust to reality. She got to be her true self for such a short time, and that too due to an unexpected circumstance. Sigh.....
This tells - no expectations from anyone not even from your closest family members. Noone even bother to think what other persons feels.... Let alone the world...
What a heartfelt film! ‘Happy Birthday Mummy Ji’ expertly navigates the delicate balance between grand celebrations and the quiet struggles behind them. Shefali Shah’s direction and nuanced performance of Sushi make this film resonate deeply. The curfew's impact on the party adds a powerful touch of realism to the story. This short film is a testament to the beauty of human connection and the hidden battles we face.

Such a nice ending. I was so getting annoyed by her husband disconnecting the phone like that. Got served right. Also the chaos on the phone vs the calm she had on this side was so satisfying. Brilliant!!!
I love shefali and the way she has shown - ill treatment by husband and mother in law... Its alternate women's story.. So beautifully shown her pain n at end getting rid off expressions ....
She planned whole birthday party. And credit goes to ," bachho ne bahut achhe se kia. That hurt her the most. And that women saying enjoy kar rahi hogi. This is how even the sweetest of in laws react.

I wish I could give like a hundred likes to this movie!! Loved the portrayal of each and every small detail that speaks volume.. her last movie juice and this one had this in common.. she speaks less her expression and the things happening around her speak more.. which is just fab !! And yes.. someone truly said that when loneliness is seeked and not forced.. it can be a blessing..
Beautiful concept . Every woman can relate ! Well done again shefali Sending love from Toronto!!!

Shefali is a brilliant actor. She is portraying life of millions of women who care for their families n get little in return. So stop hankering for appreciation.....love for yourself.....YOLO😊
What a beautiful reminder to live for ourselves plus doing nothing at times is the best thing to do💕
Such a strong film ....monoact which is so powerful. Amazing writing and mind blowing acting by shefali mam😍😍😍😍😍
Even without luxurious amenities, one can enjoy lonliness with simple things in life.
14 days of lock down bliss. There is no company like your own. Well played Shefali shah

❤️❤️self-love IS SO IMPORTANT...HRR EK INSAN K ANDR YEH CHEEZ HONI HI CHAHIYE BAAD MEI JAYE duniya..I should ENJOY WTH MY OWN COMPANY🦋🦋
Hmm, this was so beautifully shot and such a simple story. It's frustrating when no one takes your efforts seriously despite the fact that you trying so hard to do something special.
The power of finally realizing that she kept giving into a relationship and a family without getting equal investment back and being treated like an option and sacrificing to now realising that Self love, self worth are the things that matter the most and keeping ourselves happy is the beginning of a lifelong and true relationship is the true message everyone needs to walk away with 👯💁
It happens some day we sudden realise that we were wasting ourself to keeping others happy , जिसको खुश रहना होता है वो खुद रह लेता है
Kudos to Shaifali 🙏🏻
Love you darling 💞
It is sad how she has to be fake in order to adjust to reality. She got to be her true self for such a short time, and that too due to an unexpected circumstance. Sigh.....
Loved it ..way to go Shefali Shah..please write direct and act in more such films

We live those toxic people without knowing they are toxic and someday we are left alone that's the most beautiful day that can be defined ❤️
when you are alone in a crowd! relates to a lot of times i have passed thru', wonderful acting and kudos for coming with such a brilliant story line. Dont have words to express my admiration for this...
Shefali is such a gem 💎, brilliant actress, she always gives justice to her role ♥️ awesome story also
Such a nice ending. I was so getting annoyed by her husband disconnecting the phone like that. Got served right. Also the chaos on the phone vs the calm she had on this side was so satisfying. Brilliant!!!
Shefali Shah's work♥️ and Large Short Films ka quality content
Couldn't ask for more
Yess enjoying your own company is the best thing ..because than you dont need anybody ..you are content and happy by yourself
Shefali Shah has always been one of my favorites! You go girl !!
The simplicity with which they touched every women's heart is awesome...I just loved it ! ❤ 😊
