How dangerous it is to love someone so dearly. Their love is so beautifully depicted in their small disagreements.
Grieving is a matured way of remembering a departed soul, Mourning is false... You nailed it. Mr,Kaushal Oza.
Loosing the one loved and solitude, beginning of realising someone I will not be around anymore ,and letting time slip away like sand. Afterglow was a metaphor for reminiscing upon his memories and slowly realising he is gone.
Her love was so pure that she didn't need to cry for what she lost but only reminiscent the fond person she has been with .
The message came through
very well, the actors were very real in their approach.
Very well written
Death an inevitable part of life. The movie shows how brave the lady is in taking her sick husband so light heartedly and his love towards her is so beautiful. This is a beautiful masterpiece indeed.

Reality of life,very nicely portrayed.
very true.
I am recommended this after 6 years and no complaints. Thank you RUclips.
Your movie touches my heart even 6 years after I first saw it. Something happens. The inevitability of what is to happen when death comes and its acceptance by both. The silent love in her heart, the anguish, the memories. All woven so well. Compliments.
It's the most beautiful short movie since ever... I m speechless... the talented Indians ... luv from Pakistan
You've really showed us some true respect. Thank you for that. Just being an Indian has given me the privilege. So thanks again. And please receive respects from us too.
Thanks Naima

Mr. Kaushal Oza, I'm not Indian, let alone Parsi hehe, I am Indonesian who has very deep interest for Zoroastrian and Parsi culture since a long time back. I am so very glad I hv accidently landed on your channel and found this beautiful piece of art....I can't wait to show this to my family and closest friends. Thank you for making this amazing touching short movie.....my heart cries......God bless :D
Each community has certain dos and don'ts which has nothing to do with human emotions, compassion and understanding of pain. They like to see the family griving and sad (which they are anyway) but when they talk about the journey of a soul, who else but the family knew him the best till his last breath? And in that case, will that soul ever want to see his loved ones sad and depressed? The pain will never fade away, the departed will always be missed and we can't ever stop loving them.. But doing something good in their memory will truly make them happy rather than following dos and don'ts imposed by so called up holders of the faith.. I loved every bit of the movie.. Great work..
This short film never gonna leave my heart and mind. Seriously very artistic and simply showed how memories of one can bring an afterglow on their loved one's faces even when they are gone.
An extraordinary short film on the dying Parsi community.
What a well produced, well acted short film. So realistic and not exaggerated as some like to portray the Parsis. The Parsi cast made it very authentic, but the acting was commendable. Touched my heart! Thanks for posting and sharing.
Music in this film:
1. Canon in D major (Pachelbel)
2. Standchen (Schuubert)
3. La Traviata - Brindisi (Verdi)
Thank you so much! i was wondering about the same.
Thank you! I was searching this everywhere.
Thank you so much. I too was searching it everywhere (pretty badly it seems).
Thank you for the info.. I loved the music as it sounded so familiar.. :)
Thank u..
After long long time watched something really good. Movies are never about songs and dialogue . It has it's own language. When you find it inadequate use other means out of your own helplessness. You have used the medium so effectively to serve the basic purpose of movie that is story telling . God bless you. You have long long way to go.
Congratulations Kaushal Oza for such a heartwarming short film. There are so many moments where the emotions are expressed without a word. Loved it!
I’ve been watching this every year for the past 8 ish years… it never ceases to amaze. I remember every scene by now but even so, I find myself going along the journey Meher’s emotions every time. No words.

I really want to thank you Mr. Oza for creating such an experience for the viewers. Congratulate the actors and the other members of the crew on my behalf. You dealt & communicated the emotion very sensitively.
I have been watched many times. I lost my father in may 2021. He and I was suffering from covid. But I lost him. Loosing a best friend like father is very painful for me. Hope , He will rebirth and I will meet him someday.😢
What an expression of love! Left me in tears as I anticipate her new life which starts with the dying diwa.
With eyes full of tears you have hardly any words to speak!!!
love- love-love.
Beautifully made! The life of Parsi Indians is very interesting for me, though I never thought I'll ever watch a love story in the context of tradition and social rules. Thank you!

Girl education in slums
True emotion depicted..it really made me emotional..hats off to the Actors and the visionary DIRECTOR Of the Movie. Background music is so apt according to the theme chosen. In the whole film the Emotion was maintained and the Memories in Flash Back kept reminding the audience of the depth of Grief his wife must be going through at the moment.
What a beautiful glorious slice of life!! It truly afterglows with subtlety, with humanity, with compassion. Let's not talk about the production design, the use of props, the photography, the editing (all these were as brilliant as the screenplay which moves effortlessly). Always knew Anahita Oberoi was a great actress.....she proves it here again. Here's my hats off to the whole team:)
It made me cry! why a couple in deep love can't go to heaven together..
Because there is no place like heaven.
No words to express my feeling. I am speechless. What a beautiful way of telling the story!!!
Such a beautiful movie... my heart n eyes filled with tears.
Beautifully and sensitively crafted, the inner turmoil and remembrance, smart dialogue depicting the inner characters of persons, controlled exposure of pain and care...
you know what is the best part of watching this movie.....at the end you will feel your eyes wet......and minimum a tear will be sliding down on your cheek........which will definitely make you sad , but also strong at the same time........very Nice :)
Life is so beautiful when you feel loved ... excellent capture of silent emotions ... one of the best films I have ever seen
Beautiful composition.. I was a parsi for 19min & 55 sec plus felt the pain of her at the same time.. keep going.. Good luck..
learnt! learnt! learnt! the most humane expression of meeting and parting. Thank you!

laughed, cried and felt emotions sweeping over- wonderfully made! Kudos for being able to offer a multitude of emotions in under 20 minutes.
One of the best short films I've seen & specially concerning my own community. It's down to earth, very well made and it captures the spirit of the moment. The acting & the actors are very good
no words to explain the feelings after watching this, it really needs so much inner strength................hats off Mr. Oza
Sairam. The story of Live is very real and close to the heart. The other characters are just too living. Death is portrayed very beautifully.
Am touched by the movie. And my darling Najamai, so typical of the bawas. Loved all the classical music in the background.
Irrespective of your approval I stand firm in future. The only infallible weapon is to accept.

A wonderful short film ❤️
Simple storyline, though a deep theme of loss of a loved one, elegantly portrayed. Never seen anything like this before.
Awesome short film. Touching, sensitive, and extremely well acted, directed and produced. Thanks Mr. Oza for picking up such a story and with a wonderful cast! The main character portrayed by the female lead is so real, she is brilliant.
