MadTV is something we need today; a comedy show that pushes boundaries, and helps us laugh together about things that we think are ridiculous but maybe afraid to say how ludicrous they are in daily life. The slapstick nature of the show for me was a spiritual successors to "In Living Color" in that they pushed the limits and were always on the edge of comedy.

Michael McDonald, Will Sasso, Debra Wilson, Aries Spears, Mo Collins, Phil Lamar, list goes on and on with talent. Early -mid 2000’s Mad TV was on all cylinders.

What most people don't understand about people that are funny or public people or are always in front of the crowd saying something or being the personality is that we have we have issues that I have to go through that because then what I mean everybody kind of expects one thing for me and I get it you know I have issues and and it turns people off once they see those issues and it's difficult to be that person nobody understands what gets you to be that funny you know you bully people but you are also bullied and I don't know

I think the people who are the funniest, are usually the ones who have the most hurt inside. We get our joy from making other ppl laugh, even at our own expense.

They made a big deal of that pig sketch but as I recall Artie was the one who came up with and pitched that sketch.
