  • In this episode I cycle to the beautiful French city of Cahors. I check out a music festival and it's famous bridge. The following day I visit the market and cathedral but when I set off to leave I discover I have a puncture.

Wow! What adventures you are having on this trip! The scenery today was really wonderful, and going through all the little towns was a treat. And great photography to document at all. I’m really enjoying your running commentary. You’ve got a great sense of humor about it all. Can’t wait to see the end!

What a lovely section to ride on, and great that you managed to catch a swallow in your drone footage ❤😍

France has some beautiful scenery. The swallows seem to be attracted to my drone for some reason? Always makes for a more interesting shot.

Seems like a great area of France. Cahors looks wonderful and you share so many beautiful details. I also loved the stretch along the canal - or perhaps it was a river? And the drone shots give an extra dimension to the video. Interesting hippie camp 🤔😄 Happy cycling! 😃

Never been to that part of France, looks very nice, much history around it? Would think there would be some nice WWII monuments or something.

I'm sure about the history tbh. Didn't see much to do with WW2 but have seen lots of churches.

@@WestGoesEast maybe more towards the dordonge region, not sure, but a lot of French resistance activity happened around those areas I believe, some very sad stories unfortunately

@@ManicBeans actually I was going to go to a place called Oradour sur Glane but it was a little out my way. Some pretty disturbing history there!

@@WestGoesEast Yes I've read about that one amongst other similar events. Extremely sad and worryingly pertinent with what's going on in Eastern Europe
