One of my all time favorite SAXON songs! Huge fan since I was 14yrs old 45yrs ago. I've met these guys several times on tour over the years and they're good people and really appreciate their fans. They even remember me🙄 HA HA HA. It's now Nov 21st, 2023 and they just came out with a new song titled HELL, FIRE AND DAMNATION 🤘🤘just a few hours ago! SAXON still is & always will be my favorite band of all time 🙏😍🤗😻.

Paul yes. But Oliver no. He was a one trick pony that was more or less a backing guitarist from crusader and onwards. The songs Paul wrote he could not cope with, so him beeing fired was just a question of when. Paul did most of the solos from Innocense to dogs of war. Doug was an essential replacement.
