Years ago in San Francisco, my mom was a waitress at a pizza place and I stopped by to visit her. I walk in he see her at a table talking to some rocker looking dude.

The riff, the rhythm, the vocals, the lyrics, the guitar solo, everything comes together to make this song a masterpiece.
Massively underrated band. I saw them open for a bunch of bands in the U.S. in the mid to late 80s. Always a great show.
It got to the point that I would go to the shows just to watch them open.
I wish they had achieved headliner status. Total professionals.
Saxon always made it a point to write about things that really Mattered, that is one thing that I really Loved about them, BADASS ALWAYS!!!

This is my favourite song by Saxon from the mid 80's and still stands up today. Innocence is no excuse should have gone stratospheric. It's great that this song got back into the setlist in recent years.

63 yrs old and as much as I enjoy classic "Real Country" music I still love my first love hard rock/metal. As others have posted "Innocence is No Excuse" is a great album and I remember playing it for first and how much this song/anthem stood out....f..king great song

One of my favorite live and loud bands. I seen them on the Eagle has Landed tour and that show was most likely the best that I seen from them. Oh and Ozzy opened for them.

I may have posted before.. I can't remember... If I did..I apologize. Love this song and Have the Album Innocence is no Excuse. Listening to Saxon since I was a kid. This song really means something to me considering My Grandfather served in WWII. We were really close. He passed away in 2008. He told me stories about his time overseas. He was a member of The U.S./Canada First Special Service Force (Black Devil's). He saw action in Italy, Southern France,The Rhineland and Pacific. I always make a point to visit him and place a flag on his grave for Rememberance Day.. Thanks to all The Veterans. And to Saxon for a great tribute for what they did 🇨🇦 🇺🇲 🇬🇧
