Are unique chases still going to be difficult to get hold? It's a stupid idea when it's not even a variant, but a character we've been after. Characters like The Question or Manhunter should have been a regular release.
Mcfarlane doesn't realize how many customers he has lost over all these stupid gold label, platinum, and chase variant 💩 and not all of us live near 3 targets and 5 Wal-Marts that we can physically go in and in my area i have only 1 walmart that doesn't even carry mcfarlane products and no target stores within a 2 hour radius so what are people like me supposed to do and i ain't paying 40-60$ online for a 20$ figure
@@bmacster1985 and you pointed out the problem right there and sold out! Because a store exclusive or chase means it's very limited in numbers produced compaired to main line figures that are available everywhere and another reason they are sold out is the scalpers buy all the exclusives and chases up and sell them at double or triple the normal price
Chase variants are old school and I think a pretty fun side to collecting I know people hate it but I think that ultra rare will be dope for future McFarlane releases. Would feel cool to own a 1 out of 100 release of something
Not if they're all sitting on Ebay for $200. I just don't see how this works out well in the era of re-sellers. Back in the day it WAS cool. Now it's just frustrating.
Same. I think they’re fun to hunt down. It not only brings me back to the days of hunting McFarlane variants, but marvel legends ones too. The platinums aren’t the easiest to find, but when you do find one in store, the feeling is so rewarding.
@@dahhmlife well the limited ones I think would be the best type of variants cause there’s only a limited number of them. Vs a popular platinum everyone wants and there’s 100 of them on eBay for double the price . Would be cool if you were shipped or found a #5 of 100 figure on your own. And if 50 out of 100 end up on eBay than at least we can half some solid data of how many re sellers found them vs real collectors
Todd McFarlane should be kicked in the nutts for these damn platinum chase figures, the chase variants were almost going too far as it was and now figures you can't even specifically order whole characters or find them in stores and on top of that he's doing platinum chase variants of platinum chase figures... it almost like he made a back alley deal with scalpers I don't get it! I called my targets yesterday looking for the transparent blue Batman beyond figure and none of the workers that answered the phone were collector friendly and it was a nightmare trying to explain that they can't look up the item the manufacturer just stuck it randomly in the case and it doesn't exist until it's physically found!
Random comment: Was just thinking that if we already got Huntress, Fire (I'm sure Ice will happen too), Power Girl and Jade confirmed...We are sure to get Black Canary. One of the most popular DC females.
For all the people that are whining about his Chase variants just stop buying them please leave more for me and the other collectors to purchase. For every customer that McFarlane supposedly loses over doing chase variants I'm pretty sure he's gains a few more because a lot of his platinum Chase figures are still selling out online in stores and wherever the hell you can find them. Me personally I love the hunt of a platinum chase figure and I don't get butt hurt when I find out that the one I can't find is going for $60 plus dollars on eBay. Oh well you win some you lose some!!! Move on if you don't like it, go collect Hasbro, shi figs, mafex, jazwares, beast kingdom, joytoy figs, hot toys....they are always in stock you wont have trouble finding them.......online

They have Mcfarlane products they're just buying them out before customers can get them.
Well he may have lost several but his figs are still selling out online and in stores, that includes the chase figs in some chases
