I'm a 0 knowledge on Classical music sense but I usually listen movie songs only. Once I started watching your video unexpectedly, it was continuing 2 hours of time and couple of episodes watched. Your videos may not helpful to learn classical music but it creates interest and respect at our classical music. I just appreciated very well, Anuja Kamat. Your presence and voice is so beautiful as you are. Love you mam
tushar I think you should use 'JAL -TARANG " in your upcoming music videos....beacuse it's a forgotten classical instrument in INDIA... I think you should use it.....great job TIJP.....:>
I like this app but it’s not a good idea for me a few minutes ago and I didn’t know how much I had it worked for me I just had a few things I had done before it started it to my iPhone so I had no green orange 🍊 and it was just a little annoying I can’t even play the app it is kinda
Anuja ji you're amazing, please continue doing the videos. Now that entire india is under lockdown, you would have time to restart the channel. This is time Anuja ji. Do it. Talent like yours is precious. I await to watch you sing more. I'm inspired and would like to learn many concepts through your videos
Raveena, How is India managing in this Pandemic?...{That is, if you are living in India}..Our Country {UK} has some of the highest death rates in the World...but the economic effect is going to be very painful indeed.
These videos are so helpful. I am using them to introduce my kids to the world of Indian classical music and you explain in such a clear way. Thank you!
This video was exactly what I needed! I was analysing a film score and I wasn’t sure which instruments were used. I could only tell that I sounded Indian (I don’t know why I thought that). It turns out it was one instrument out of the tanpura classification. But I still can’t tell which. ☺️
Anuja ji your voice is very melodic even when you just speak. I am 33 years old and I have begun learning Bansuri, I must tell you when it comes to theory of music I am a buffoon, and I am learning a lot from your videos. Keep up the good work. God bless you.
Mrs. Anuja, i dont comment very Often on RUclips. But i am compelled to do so, your work is so very necessary for us westerners to make some Sense out of the vast world of indian music. Its really impressive how you communicate so easily and have a beautiful vibe. Keep going!
Thank you ma'am. I actually make notes as I listen to your videos you present to me that what I don't find anywhere. I am so thankful I missed you so much all these years you went silent.
I am sooo Amazed +Anuja Kamat to get the knowledge you are imparting through your videos. its like relishing a divine nectar of Hindustani Sangeet. I also happen to be a singer and learning Hindustani & your sharings have helped me gain ample amount of technicalities and nitty-gritties of our immortal music. Thanks so much. Great going!!
Thankyou for this great primer on Indian instruments. I was talking with a friend about the wonderful tonal quality of Indian music, and my friend mentioned an instrument I hadn't heard of, which made me want to look up a video to know what the instrument sounds like, and that got me seeking out education on the various instruments and what they sound like, and this what exactly what I was looking for!
Anuja Ma'am, all your presentations are especially informative as well as delightful. Request you, please never stop this series and service. In this episode, personally, I very much liked the expression Indian music instruments rather than the word musical. It was very insightful of you. Thank you very much, Ma'am, for your valuable videos!
Thank you very much Anuja! You obviously have years of studying and experience under your belt as you are able to really explain these key concepts in great detail yet simple enough for any learner of any range. I am going to India next month to study hindustani classical music and learn bansuri and these videos are very helpful as I am trying to have some sort of knowledge on the subject before I leave.
loads of thanks to you, being a media student this video (other videos too) plays an important source of research for my documentary project, thanks again
Great work Anuja. Once started I could not stop watching your video series till the end......Liked your smile, confidence and oratory presentation of well researched content. Since I am new to the world of Carnatic music, it helped me to get birds eye view of all that Indian music world. Proud of your great work..........Hope to see more videos from you.......

Very very well explained. The best explaining method and video concept. I will suggest this channel to my rock and heavy metal students, so that they could experience a different world.
Anuja, I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and have become a fan. In this episode, Sushir Vadya Nadaswaram and its accompaniment Avanadh Vadya Thavil which continue to have some towering proponents and are even today part of every Temple festival in the South are missing. Please note and add when possible
These instruments are part of my IGCSE Music Exam written paper under topic of Indian Music which is what I’ve learned which is the melody is based on the notes of a raga, small number of instruments and he sound is pitch bending! As a fact my Tanpura (which my teacher said it is spelled as Tambura) plays as the drone!
