Stunning blue paint work guys, Rob looks great cleaning the excess bonding agent off, I know how frustrating this job must have been for you guys but well done your monster is on the road and nearing the finishing line, keep up your great work 👍 😎💥💥
Thanks Nigel! Yeah he got a bit keen with the spray gear 😂. It should be on the wheels I’m no time hopefully. Then the end is in sight
Great progress lads 👍
Thanks bro
Thanks bro
Looking good fellas - coming along real nicely!
Thanks bro, be done in no time 👀
Great video guys its getting there
Thanks buddy, be on the wheels In no time hopefully 😅
Nice to see some colour coordination between the hose, compressor and the body work ;) That black mastic stuff is bloody sticky..i used some of that on a chevy when i carbon fibred the bloody awful yellow bow tie badges! I believe its what the automotive industry uses to attach company badges to cars so very useful for body panels. think it must be the same stuff. I think I'm right in thinking....could you not have gel coated those panels in that colour to start with? Really coming together now guys.
We could of but it wasn’t a colour that Mk offered and didn’t want to get a third party panel set if you know what I mean. Yeah manufactures use a similar polyurethane adhesive with things like our spoilers on the TT etc
@@TheParrottBros Oh I see... I think you made the right choice there.
Maybe I missed it. But how did you warm up the adhesive? In a warm oven for for an hour? Bucket of warm water? Keep em between your thighs?
All of the above work well 😂. We put it in a bucket of warm water works wonders
