I'm Swedish and started learning English in third grade all the way up to my final year in the Swedish equivalent of upper secondary school. This was NEVERRRR mentioned which is CRAZY!! Very useful stuff! I mean some might eventually pick up on it simply from hearing English alot but it's very useful to hear it like this
Oh my goodness!!! I have been learning more from you My amazing teacher keep up the good work I'll be over the moon when you talk about phrasal verbs!!!
I lived in England for 10 years . My english is perfect except for my accent. Somehow i haven’t been able to get to grip with connecting my speech to make it flow . Coming across your channel I realise how simple it is . So thanks a lot for your excellent way of explaining this golden rule of the " intruder " So gone is my inhibition about it .
As a native, north american english speaker, who loves accents, dialects, etc, this was incredibly useful in capturing some very subtle notes of some english accents different form my own. Amazing job.
Hello Teacher! You are so energetic. I'm so grateful for your lessons. I have got good news I have started talking in English like a native speaker but while I am sleeping.
It's da first Time i hear someone xplaining da sound 'r' intruding Two words. I had Heard it before but i thought it was my imagination. Thank u so much!
ANNAAA, thank you sooo much!!! This video is exactly what I needed. I always try to sound British, but I always fail on connecting speech. After this video, I'm sure that I'll overcome my problem.

Hi Piedad, hope all is fine. I am Mozambican national and passionate with languages learning. I am looking for people like you to exchange language learning. I speak English fluently, Portuguese is my native language and I have the basic of spanish. If you are looking for the same, please let me know on skype: constantino.junior4 or on whatsapp 0025829367482
I cannot link the 2 words fastly,I have to pronounce them slow.If I pronounce them quickly they turn into a tongue twister😅...just because I'm trying to speak with the RP pronunciation and not with cockney accent.Maybe I need to improve the using of TH in english😏...here in Bristol I think do not have a lot of chances to understand English, they have a very strong accent🙄...anyway I am going to make a big effort to improve my spoken and understanding English, even though working in a warehouse it will be tough.😊thanks for replying me and see you soon.
Intrusions and elisions. Learned something new although I use them all the time! Saw(r) always intrigued me and now I know what it's all about. Thank you! I'm Indian.
It would be of great help if you made a video focusing on how letter "t" is pronounced in British English connected speech in a sentence like this "I had planned to go out but I was asked to stay home by my mother". In particular how to connect "but I" together. Americans use the alveolar tap, producing a sound more similar to an "r" or "d" rather than a proper "t". How does the British pronunciation differ?
Actually, yes, I have heard the intruding R. I just spotted one in A Day In The Life's lyrics: "I saw /r/ a film today, oh boy!". It's pretty plain to listen! And love it, of course
