Probably in the near future, more weather stuff could be incorporated by Space Engine. For example, if you land in Jupiter's Great Red Spot, one should see some insane weather system, raging clouds, lightning and exotic precipitation.
ah. you got my description wrong. Methuselah was not located in that star system. It was in a star cluster near it. The one you spotted while you were looking around on the moon. Also, i mixed the chemical makeup of the rivers with the atmospheric composition. It was supposed to be Sulfur dioxide. So, my bad!
Nick Drake was right! There is a pink moon! A blue atmospheric planet that's complete darkness underneath is a worry - or did the developers just forget about it! 😉
I think it's because the devs don't texture gas giants since they don't have an actual surface, but a model is needed to display the atmosphere, which is why it appears pitch black when you turn off the atmosphere. I've seen other gas giants like this.
Dude en enjoy ur videos but pls use Rodrigo's mod everything is twice as beautiful xd For example here 1:38 the shorelines look very rounded, that's fixed with rodrigo's mod
You didn’t point it out, but besides being tidally locked that moon is always above the same side of the planet, it’s orbital period is the same as a day on the planet, kinda like the planet is tidally locked to the moon too
I just bought this last night. It is a broken POS... all kinds of things wrong.. the star browser has no stars.. amongst just other broken things... I regret paying money for it...

probably not cause development is going extremely slowly, the best we will get in the near future is probably just 3d clouds and better terrain

Does your computer have high enough specifications? You might not have a good enough graphics card or enough storage
