He doesn’t miss. This is definitely my new favorite slow Thai project. I really connected with it instantly on first listen. I love Tyron and many of the songs are still in rotation but as an album I like this more.
Tourniquet made me bawl on my first listen and it still makes me teary now - something about the combo of an instrumental that sounds like Radiohead with Slowthai's incredibly raw and vulnerable vocal performance just punches me straight in the feels
slowthai is such in intricate artist, from early music like doorman where it makes me want to slide tackle someone down a set of stairs to never again where i was tearing up man.. he dont miss on any song or feature. glad people feel the same way about his music

he comes from northampton (uk) and it’s where i am from and it’s so poor and bad and the poverty leads to do much violence in gangs and it’s increasing especially as i knew people in gangs and this music just hit different knowing he’s from where i am
The pitched up voice in Feels Good shares the same vibe as the “id” in Fuck It Puppet for me. Kinda flips the meaning, fitting with slowthai’s verse is very ironically happy as if he’s embracing feeling good despite things being awful.

slowthai has an incredible discography. UGLY is perfect . The album manages to be depressing and aggressive at the same time. brutal
